Summary
Teru knew God’s mission. He knew his goals, was moved by them, and devoted himself to accomplishing the tasks given.
Especially now that he saw the face of God, Teru would do anything. He would walk across hot coals and bare lashes against his back to even catch a fleeting glimpse of a smile, a look, a wave. Milky skin and rosy cheeks would haunt his dreams for the rest of his mortal life, and even beyond in the depths of purgatory he would think of such ethereal features.

Summary
Light claimed his great victory after years of scheming and dreaming about his New World. He was now the only God ruling humanity toward a brighter future, with just a stroke of his pen and the brilliance of his mind. He had been riding in a wave of bliss since the day he officially became a divine being. He didn’t get out of that without a scratch, however. But Light couldn’t complain about the privileged treatment he received from his most faithful follower.
Mikami was right there for him, at his disposal and delighted to help with anything and everything, always ready to make Light’s life more comfortable.
But the joy of his triumph was accompanied by some old, forgotten desires, coming back to Light with alarming intensity. Well, perhaps Mikami’s dedicated assistance could be of use in another matter as well.
