Summary
Kilead is a small town in North Dakota, near the Canadian border.
Alice Kirkland, who works there as a detective, gets assigned to an unusual murder case.
When it’s clear that wasn’t “just” a one time murder, the chief of the KL-police decides more detectives are needed.
