It began, like many other variations of the same tale, with a prophecy. Given by the same woman, about the same two men. A true prophecy with the power to shape the world. Told in the presence of the Headmaster of Hogwarts and overheard by another. Half-heard with great consequence.
But that is where the similarities end. For this prophecy was not about a mere Dark Lord and a boy who was destined to carry his soul until death. No, this prophecy was about the Emperor of the World, the Man Who Conquered, and a boy who was destined to be his equal.
