Summary
On temporary hiatus. I'm still writing it and it will be finished but life has a way of fucking us all.
When Voldemort kills Harry, the Horcrux dies instead. Instead of returning to the battle of Hogwarts, Harry is sent back to 1971. With Voldemort's first rise to power underway but still a secret, how will Harry figure out a way to stop him?
Bellatrix Black, a seventh year at Hogwarts in 1971, knows that Harry Potter has secrets. A lot of them. She's determined to discover them all, even if he's not willing to share.
The premise is simple, what if Harry had the opportunity to meet Bellatrix before she joined up with Voldemort. How would they each change each other's lives?
All events in the books up until Harry's death in the Deathly Hallows are canon when it diverges.
Heavy emphasis on the dark arts, pureblood politics and breaking down prejudice, as well as frequent appearances by the Black family.
Slow burn.
Note:
Time travel happens only once, Harry does not return to the future and nobody else comes to the past.
While Harry is stronger than in canon, he's not overpowered or godlike.

Summary
