Summary
Santiago Nasar was supposed to die.
He had accepted it, allowed that tought to become the cage he lived in, let fear dictate every choice. He did not fight. He did not question. He let death claim him without resistance.
Until he ran.
The promise of escape echoed in the shadows, a chance to break free from the chains of fate. But now, guilt gnaws at him, a constant reminder that he fled, that he abandoned the life he once knew. The man who ran is still there, lurking in his mind, questioning whether it was cowardice or courage that led him to turn away.
To escape his death, Santiago must face that choice. He must return to the moment he fled, confront the coward inside him, and look into the eyes of the fate he tried to outrun.
And when he does, he will have to decide:
Is the power to choose truly his, or is he still trapped in the same story he tried to escape?
