Summary
Techno breathes in deep, refusing to let any panic take over his mind. Okay. So he's injured and hours out in the woods, potentially still has a murderer after him. That's fine. He can get out of this, he just has to think.
He's almost afraid to look down at his leg. What if there's bone sticking out of it or something? Techno's not optimistic about things, sure, but he knows that would only make it worse. He has to deal with it, though, probably has to patch up his cut arm too.
Techno inhales hard and looks down at-
What?
He's staring down at what should be his hands. Except they're not. Techno has soft, ruddy paws instead. Experimentally, he flexes them. Little claws extend and he flinches. He turns, trying to look behind him, and he sees a pinkish tail twitch on the ground.
This isn't happening, Techno thinks, almost disgustingly calm. He hit his head or something on the way down. Or he died and this is hell. It's fine. Then, he panics.
He's a cat.

OR, werecat Techno is almost murdered but turns into a cat instead. His family doesn't know. This causes problems.
