Summary
Four years later and Amicia still sees Hugo where she goes. She sees him in the beautiful sights she finds on the road and she sees him in the death that caresses her memory and the aftershock of the plague. Yet she honors him in her search for the next carrier.
The De Rune legacy does not end here however, not when unbeknownst to Amicia, unknown foes of the past are on a mission to break the last meaningful De Rune. In doing so, they may reveal something just as powerful as the Macula.

Amicia and Sophia are on the road to find the next carrier, Amicia decides to delve into her past and her family, but an unlikely enemy reveals there is more to the Macula than just the carrier.
