    Loki chuckled darkly, the sound filling her veins with crackling fire as his presence both warmed and chilled her. He circled her, methodical, sizing up his chosen prey, "By your own admission, little one, you are indebted to me, and as your king, I am not giving you a choice. Your fate has been decided, and it is in my hands, but I will allow you to decide how it plays out." His hands, strong and possessive, found her waist, "So, what will you choose? Will you be my wife or my plaything? Though I can assure you, there will be little difference, so choose wisely..."

    Loki and Thor have set off on their own, fleeing Norway as King Harald Fairhair seeks to unify their homeland under his rule. They set their sights on England, where they went their separate ways to build their own settlements and become the Jarls they were always meant to be. As a Jarl, a king, Loki demands respect from his people, and, in return, he does whatever he needs to do to keep them safe and cared for. The years go by in peace until Loki unexpectedly finds Thor at his doorstep, and he comes with an intriguing proposition that will lead Loki toward something, or someone, he never anticipated...

    A young sea nymph is kidnapped from her waters only to be enslaved by the mysterious Jotuns. Naive to surface life, Marina struggles to understand a new and frightening culture. The Jotuns brutalize their slaves- particularly the heartless princes. King Laufey's youngest, however, takes an interest in the slave girl and promises her protection.

    This is an AU including my own interpretation of Jotun culture, an original race, and an original character. Also included are interpretations of Elven culture and alternative Asgard/Jotunheim history. More canon characters may be added later on and the rating may be changed to explicit down the line.
