    Amelia Whitmore had always known she didn’t belong, not really. At least, she didn’t belong in Candor. That, she was sure of. The faction she’d grown up in had its influences, of course. She always felt compelled to let the truth be known, whether it hurt someone’s feelings or not, and most found her to be fairly shameless when it came to discussing her emotions and thoughts.

    But Amelia knew there was more to her than that. She needed there to be more than that. That’s why she was so pleased when she received the results from her aptitude test.
