    By killing Itachi, Sasuke is made aware of the terrible truth his brother was hiding. Despite the pain and the desire for revenge, he decides to return to Konoha to fulfill Itachi's wish: to protect the Village. Pain has been defeated, but Madara presses on his hunt for the Biju.
