Harry was going to talk to Sirius no matter their opinion on the matter.

Ron and the twins never break Harry out of his room and he is confronted with a closed barrier on his own. After a little panic and a big floo accident he lands in Severus Snape's office.
This is a reformatting and a rewrite of Greed and Transitions. I hated the idea of many shorter fics and am putting it in one longer fic! I also edited both and I am continuing the series in this work. Tags to be added as the story continues.

Summary
Harry Potter is the light side's spoiled, pampered prince, or at least that is what Alexandria has always believed. Despite using the Tournament as a cover for her mission to find her father, she sees how easily everyone turns on Harry and finds herself unable to watch him suffer. After all, family is everything to a Black, and Alexandria Black is not going to let some idiots get her little brother killed.
Or: A dark pureblood witch comes into Harry's life and opens his eyes to the culture and politics of the Wizarding world and his place in it. He ends up surrounded by Slytherins and dark magic and finds he does not mind either one. Perhaps he is not the light side's saviour after all?

With Sirius free from Azkaban and taking up his role as Harry's guardian, Voldemort pursuing a political path to power rather than bloodshed, and a defense teacher that isn't actively trying to kill him for once, Harry has high hopes for his third year at Hogwarts. It'll be nice to sit back and be a kid for once.Only Harry's life is never so simple, and he soon finds himself facing a myriad of new challenges: school bullies and new family dynamics, horcruxes all but falling into his lap, his deja-vu brain giving him mixed signals, and hidden murmurs arising from old Death Eater circles that may pose a threat to him regardless of his tentative alliance with Voldemort. Things seem destined to never be easy, but if there's one thing Harry knows by now, it's that he won't have to do it alone.
