Summary
Most people know that in the world of Ghosts there are of course the four calamities who are respected and feared (for the most part), but what they don't realize is that there is a ghost that even the calamities fear, a ghost older than Jun Wu himself.
The Patriarch of Ghosts is what most consider a folktale, a nightmare to keep ghosts at bay, Hua Cheng knows the ghost is real and he knows Wei Wuxian is not as impressive as the stories make him out to be. The depressed ghost is barely alive, let alone threatening.
Aka, where Wei Wuxian is the oldest ghost who wanders the mortal plain, mourning his lost husband and longing for death.

(AU where instead of being taken to a facility after the Great/Ability War ends, Yosano is taken to Atsushi's orphanage. This changes things.)
