It was after Mikasa had gone home after a long day of swimming and eating pizza in the Jaegers’ backyard, a couple weeks before the start of their junior year. Though Eren, Mikasa, and Armin had hung out at least once a week, like they did during the school year, it seemed that Mikasa had other engagements.
“That’s not nice, Zeke,” Armin retorted.
“Yeah, what are you saying about our friend?” Eren said, glaring at his older brother.
“I’m just saying, I think your friend Mikasa has become more learned in the ways of the world than the two of you are.”
