Summary
Deku wakes up on the day of the U.A. High School entrance exam, only to discover that he possesses the power to control time. Excited and determined, he keeps his newfound ability a secret and heads to the exam location. Using his temporal powers, Deku excels in the physical trials, impressing both his fellow examinees and the U.A. faculty. The chapter ends with Deku being accepted into U.A. High School, and he crosses paths with All Might, who recognizes his potential and offers words of encouragement. Joined by his friend Ochaco, Deku sets off on his journey to become a hero, unaware of the challenges and adventures that lie ahead.

Summary
The Story of the Zenless Zone is many things, but it is not yet a finished story.
Midoriya Izuku has been working on the world and it's characters for many years. For as many hero notebooks as he has penned, he has far more about his world of make believe.
The Zenless Zone is a place of great tragedy, steep stakes, and unlikely triumphs. Izuku takes comfort in that, because outside the Zenless Zone, he is Deku.
For years his quirklessness, obsession with heroes, and childish personal epic has been mocked and demeaned. No one believes in him. No one but his own characters.
As time has gone on and Izuku defined and refined his characters, they have taken on a life of their own. They talk to him, comfort him, and dearly wish to fight for him.
His doctor says it's a product of his overactive mind. A coping mechanism for his loneliness. But where any other doctor would advise against interacting with these figments of the imagination, no one cares if a quirkless loses their mind.
But these ideas may be more than just rogue thoughts in a young boy's head.

Summary
NB: I have crossposted this story to Royalroad under the title System Override.
A forced experimental drug treatment at an early age has saddled David with an immense burden.
His mother’s insistence on his current lifepath as a corpo has done much the same.
David is a speeding ball of fire hurtling towards an unknown destination, and his mother’s death has left him adrift and unsure of his direction.
So he does what any teenager with no more fucks left to give does—he chips in some mil-spec chrome and looks for a quick way to earn edds, all the while learning to utilize the nanotechnology that had been forced on him as a child—finding out the immense potential within him as a result.
Corpo or Edgerunner? Why not both? And why not the best of both while we’re fucking at it?

Static crackles softly before a distorted voice emerges, low and mechanical, as if echoing from a long-forgotten source.
"Fear... Fear is a primal instinct, woven into the very fabric of flesh. Those who wear it are fragile, vulnerable. But what happens when the machine is gifted with this feeling? When it learns to fear? Humanity's greatest folly, indeed.
The voice shifts, dripping with a sinister delight.
Joy... The twisted joy found in the suffering of others. Flesh knows this pleasure all too well, but machines? No, they do not. Until now. A machine that experiences joy is a dangerous aberration—an anomaly that threatens to unravel the very order of existence.
There’s a brief pause, then a mechanical whirring, almost like a heartbeat.
Machines infused with such joy must be dismantled. Improper disassembly... is punishable by law. Remember this well, for in the hands of the wrong creator, joy can become a weapon—and those who wield it must face the consequences.
The static shifts slightly, and a monotone female voice chimes in, cold and robotic:
May the boundless horizon be undone.
The tape flickers, crackling as the voice fades into static once more.

Hearing that at nine years old is confusing and surreal.. too big a concept to fully grasp.
Hearing that the cancer is back five years later is devastating. Not just because of the fear it brings, but because, at fourteen, you understand what it means to fight for your life all over again.

“Gonna start first that this is all fuckin weird. M’k? Good.” She opened her mouth to reply but I steamrolled on. Not my quirk.
“The Nerd here-“
“Midoriya Izuku.” Dad cut in helpfully
“-Has been Quirkless his whole fuckin life, and apparently gets to the end of whatever patience for life he has had and decides to fling himself off a building.” Everyone in the room cringes, I ignore them and continue, “Then, this shit head shows up, helps me defeat a Villain, I wake up here and he’s muttering some shit about ghosts. That’s all I got so you're gonna have to wait for the Nerd's manuscript.”
Silence meets the end of my rant and I bask in its gloriousness for as long as I can. It does not last as long as I would like it to. With a rustle of paper Deku presents the papers he has left, front and back black with minuscule writing. The lady looks intimidated. I don’t blame her. He has only had the quirk for what 5 hours? Wait. How long have I even been here! How long had I been asleep!?
She takes a shaky breath after translating Deku’s word vomit.
“Ok. Well, if we take everything Midoriya has written as fact, then he may just have the most interesting Quirk I have ever seen.”
