Your family calls your quirk 'angles wings' as your family members all have iridescent wings that emerged from the small of their backs. The feathers are so light they are almost see-through, sometimes tinged with slight colors. Your mothers are such a pure white, while your brothers are a grayish color.
But you were not so lucky. When you were born the doctor looked Grimm. A large mass on your small delicate back where wings would normally be. As your mother cried you were rushed to have tests done. The ultrasound said you were developing wings perfectly fine, so where were they?
As your mother awoke she received heart breaking news. As you developed in the womb something went wrong and your wings and spine fused together, creating a mass of tangled nerve endings. It’s rare for people to be born without a quirk, but it’s even rarer for a baby to be born with a deformed physical quirk.
Your mother was faced with a decision. Have doctors remove your wings and give you the opportunity to hopefully grow as a quirkless child, but to never be able to use their lower body. Or to try to save your wings, but with even greater risks to your life.
