Summary
It took dying for him to realize he never knew what living truly entailed. If given the chance, he would undoubtedly reach for it - determined to experience what it meant to live, as opposed to the notion he’d found himself carelessly attached to for too long.
But as it turns out, second chances aren’t all they’re chalked up to be. Not when he finds himself reincarnated as the main villain in an anime he wasn’t all that familiar with. He supposes beggars can’t be choosers, but wasn’t there a better alternative than the King of Curses himself?

Summary
Damian had lived his first life stuck in an internal battle he was fated to one day lose. Not because of what other people did, but because of what he's done to himself. He didn't see himself as someone worthy of second chances, not when he had messed things up so badly the first time around. So when Damian reopened his eyes after thinking it impossible, he was understandably very upset.
And to add insult to injury, he'd not only come back to life, but he'd come back as his infant self with a family that cared a little too much for Damian's comfort.
