Summary
The only sounds that reached him clearly were the noises that signaled an attack about to happen in a matter of seconds. He felt himself being moved, his legs unable to support him, but Sam’s were firmly planted on the ground. He went from leaning against the boy’s chest to leaning against his back, as Sam had put him behind him and was still holding a tight grip on Andy’s right shoulder.
But the noises were getting louder, exactly the same as a few minutes earlier. He clung to Sam. At least if he died dismembered, he would do so embracing a boy willing to use himself as a shield to save him.
