Summary
James Sunderland finds himself drifting through town, not really knowing what to do with himself. He can’t help but think of his dead wife. Everything reminds him of her, but the memories are also hard to hold onto. To his growing despair, Mary isn’t anywhere. Not helping this are the glimpses of things he’d seen in the fog, or in the dark corridors of the apartment building. But no-one – aside from that girl, Angela – is here, no-one is around. It’s like the whole town was just abandoned. But then, he meets someone new, and his wandering and reminiscing is given more direction. But at the same time, his quest is made that much hazier.
