Nat’s eyes crease on the edges and she lets out an airy, raspy, chuckle that makes butterflies flap around Lottie’s stomach. Lottie feels her smirk turn increasingly into a smile with a sense of pride being able to make Nat laugh like this. She can feel her giggle build in her chest.

That look in her eyes, in the curve of her lips, the tenderness, the raw affection.
