Nat gets toward the stairs and feels a cold wind blow through his blonde, shaggy hair. He looks up to the front door of the house opening and a girl stepping inside. He freezes, fingers gripping the wooden railing that lines the staircase.

Her eyes briefly glance over to Nat as she tilts her head. Nat especially doesn’t miss the way her eyes linger a moment too long on her muggle clothing.

And then, Nat barely has time to process the wave of lavender that seems to waft her way as the girl steps into the cabin completely and extends her hand, looking at her as if she were something quite peculiar. “I’m Charlotte Matthews.
