An indie horror and sci-fi author, I've never written fan fiction, but discovered it after finally (years too late) playing through Life is Strange and quickly realizing that I needed more works than the canon provided in order to deal with the ending of Max and Chloe's story. I'm currently toying with an idea for my own fan fiction Life is Strange narrative, but am gauging whether my contribution is warranted, while reading all the amazing work that has already been posted and the many alternative endings and universes that have already been explored.
