Never mind that Leo would prefer to stay in his snug little cabin then head to bright ass New York.

Dressed in black and a mask of what looks like Japanese origins. What had startled him so much were the hands. Albeit small and almost unnoticeable in the frame, were clutching a box with three fingers and only three fingers. Their back sloped like something was underneath the clothes, 'maybe a shell'. Now it could easily be a guy who lost some fingers and had a bad case of scoliosis, or even a new mutant they hadn't seen before. Donnie didn't want to get his or his brothers hopes up, but...

Summary
Jose and Panchito believe that Donald is being mistreated by his family. Specifically Della and Scrooge. However things come to a head when Dewey comes back to the manor after an adventure with a broken arm. The triplets each tell him how they had to convince Della and Scrooge to go home. And how the two were reluctant to do so.
Donald now believes that Della isn't fit to be a parent and is too dangerous to be around. So he takes her to court to gain custody of the triplets. Even taking Webby with him, Miss Beakly is fine with thus though, wanting to give the girl a normal life. With Jose and Panchito backing him up makes things a bit easier, though this may have some side effects as the rooster and parrot both have a crush on the duck. Sadly, said duck is completely oblivious to this to the complete chargin of the children.
Of course Della won't give up without a fight, making it even harder with Scrooge on her side. Doesn't help that the court is less likely to take his side just because he's trans.
And to make matters worse, an old enemy of a retired hero plans on teaming up with a darker evil.
Can't Donald just have one normal day?

Donnie’s head was pounding and his limbs felt like wet paper as his senses started to return. Even with fuzzy vision, he could make out a horribly familiar office. Through the large, floor to ceiling window, the rising sun shined right in his eyes. Unfortunately, the ringing in his ears made it hard to distinguish sounds, but he knew the honeyed, singsong voice that was emanating from the lavender blob in front of him.
“Good morning, turtley-boos! I have a business proposition for you.”
