   Gojo let out a loud, exaggerated sigh.

   “I’ve gotta say, Geto Suguru, I’m very disappointed. Rejecting our deal like it’s nothing... for this?”

   He gestured vaguely toward the quiet village behind Geto. “We’re the strongest pack in the region—power, safety, resources. As many omegas as you want, if that’s your thing.”

   “Strength means nothing if it’s built on forced submission and destruction.”

   So that was the kind of alpha Geto Suguru was. Altruistic words, romantic even. Pathetic. It almost made Gojo feel sick.
   And yet, he was fascinated despite himself.

   Survival of the fittest. That's what Gojo believed. Meeting Geto Suguru, the alpha of a small pack, made him begin to realize strength alone wasn’t enough to survive. Or rather, to truly live.
