Summary
The elevator pitch: Take the Ori, the religious crusaders from SG-1's Season 9-10, and treat them as the unstoppable villains they were set up to be. And then turn them loose against Atlantis, now crowded with the refugees from two galaxies and still trying to figure out how to support itself.
QH is a war story, but it's mostly a story of how you piece together a jigsaw of culture, faith, morals, and responsibilities when you weren't given the tools because it is a job you were never supposed to have. It's a literal world-building as Atlantis transitions from scientific outpost to multicultural empire... while looking down the barrel of a gun. The Ori are coming and the cost of the war they bring with them is steep.
