Summary
In the fall of 1972, Barty Crouch Jr. set off to Hogwarts for the first time. He knew what was expected of him. Make a good impression, ace his classes, gather advantageous peers. Don't muck it all up like usual. He stood alone at King's Cross Station, his father's words ringing in his ears, taking in the Hogwarts Express and everything it represented.
The first thing Barty remembers from Platform 9 and 3/4 is Evan's face.

Evan Rosier was no stranger to oddities. Please, the dark artefacts littering the halls of his family manor were enough to fill a museum. He was also no stranger to parental pressure - not that he concerned himself with it.
