    Diluc thrummed at the praise, heart hammering in his chest as he whimpered. His Father’s scent was so strong right now, swirling with that pride and love and something else Diluc couldn't define, and that was nearly enough to smother the flames.

    Nearly.

    But ‘nearly’ would never truly be enough to keep that fire from bursting to life again only a minute or two later -- More. He still needed more; and this time it had to be Papa.
