Summary
Jane Darling, just budding into her young adult years, is mistaken for her mother - Wendy - and kidnapped by Captain James Hook to Neverland. Used as bait for the Captain to finally kill Peter Pan, Jane finds herself at the mercy of his dark plot and tossed to the giant octopus lurking in the nearby waters (who seems to also have sinister intentions for her). Rescued by Peter Pan, she then gets to meet the legend himself that, before, only lived in her mother's stories. But she'll find that the playful boy she heard about at bedtime is much more sinister than she thought. Where Jane thought she only had to worry about the monsters and pirates of Neverland, she soon finds herself at the mercy of Peter, too - and the reason for why her mother fought so hard to leave Neverland becomes tremendously apparent. Surrounded by the Lost Boys (who are no mere boys, but young men) she soon becomes the object of their fantasies. Jane, caught in a flurry of passion between Peter, the Lost Boys, and eventually, Hook - undertakes a difficult mission to find her way home.
