“I don’t care if you’re sick.” James shot back at Regulus slamming his hands against the wooden table in front of him. Something in his voice waving with fear. The younger boy had never seen James this frightened.
He took a sigh before turning his head just enough to catch Regulus’ pale face.
“I don’t care if you’re contagious. I would kiss you even if you were dead.” James whispered, scared that if he said it too loud it might become true.
And in that moment Regulus thought for just a second, he could fall in love in this unfair world.
