Summary
Alex loves his life. He loves his tattoo shop, his slow mornings, his receptionist and the cinnamon in his coffee. He doesn't need anything else, doesn't have a fire under his ass anymore, like his sister used to say. And it's fine. More than fine.
Then, on a night out he meets Henry. Henry, who is piss drunk in the parking lot of the bar his sister picks shifts up at, who asks him to tattoo him at three in the morning. Alex knows he's doomed, just by looking in those deep blue eyes. He tells himself it doesn't have to be more than that; more than a client he puts his art on. And he believes it wholeheartedly.
Until Henry keeps finding ways to worm his way into his life, again, and again and again. It feels like free fall, and Alex doesn't know how to stop it.
