2021-Oct 3 - Ok... I've been gone a LOOONG time. So many things happened in my life and in the world. I bought a house. My daughter grew up. I got sick. I lost a house. I got well. I earned an honorary son. I got a permanent roommate. I became a grandparent. I bought another house. I changed my career (literally the day after I closed on the house). I got older. I got distracted. I lived life. Suddenly, I reread a story that re-inspired me. Then I realized I hadn't been writing because when I lost the first house, after I got well again, that I no longer had the same setup for working. I wasn't comfortable enough to create, so I only used my office for work and day to day tasks. Writing because a chore. However, I discovered that the components of my setup have traveled with me from losing a house to renting a house, to owning another house. So I'm going to return to that formula so I can really enjoy the creative process again. It's something I've wanted for a long time, and until now it has eluded me. I think I got this now.
Last worked on Chapter 15 of Chasing the Trail 2016, July 13. The file is open now. It's 2021, October 3. Providence? We'll see. I feel like this chapter has been nearly finished for EVER, so can I get it published today? We'll see. I'm gonna try.
