death has the heard the whisphers of the souls hes guided to the afterlife of a terrible war and all who held a part in it. but the whispers are getting louder for the plans of a young boy and when death encounters the child of who the whispers speak of and the one whom they call their saviour he cant help but want to save him from the life the mortal realm want from him. and so death accquires a new son one whom he will raise to stand above their lies and manipulations . the mortal realm is about to have a new master of death and i can promise you this... they are not prepared.

Summary
AU- Every magical being dreads the number, the day, some try to run but Merlin can't. Being eighteen is dreadful and like everyone else he's on his way to Camelot. His mother and father had tried to prepare him for life in Camelot, in University, in prison but Merlin is different than all the others and he feels the pressure of all sides. War is coming and terror, fear and anger are mounting to explosive levels. And to cap it all off he's rooming with a prat who he just can't ignore.
Now everything rests on loyalty. Too bad Merlin doesn't trust anyone.

Toni’s gums ache for a split second, fresh blood flooding her mouth before she swallows it.
And in that next second that curl of darkness inside of her sits up and decides that this, that Howard’s continued cruelty and abuse, will no longer be allowed.
Toni licks the blood from her now too sharp teeth before she plants her hands on the floor in front of her and pushes herself back up onto her feet.
This time when Howard lashes out at her Toni ducks low to avoid the blow.
Crouched on the hall floor, sharp nails digging into the dark wood beneath her, Toni hisses, takes a moment to calculate, and then she leaps.
