    Spider stood on shaky legs, spinning in place as the atokirina landed on his arms and shoulders in a gentle caress. And just as certain as they claimed him, they flitted back into the air, moving into the trees slowly as though beckoning him.

    He saw the sign for what it was. The Great Mother was calling to him, and he would listen.

    So Spider followed.

    Or, the desperate actions of a lonely child force those around him to confront demons long thought dead and buried... For a heart darkened by hate cannot see, and those who cannot see are doomed to wander blindly from the Great Mother's grace.     Perturabo is gone, along with a good chunk of the Fourth's ground forces. Not dead, just gone. The Hrud are defeated, and Forrix is now the highest ranking person in the Legion, and it's up to him to keep his brothers and his people together.

    Roubute isn't sure how he's supposed to handle the shattered Legion that Horus sends to him with no warning. Magnus is tearing his hair out. Horus doesn't know why Roubute is mad at him; what does he mean Perturabo's GONE?
