Jason Todd is a member of society devoted to aiding the people of Gotham. He runs countless charities, he funds plenty of homeless shelters, he helps set up tutors for vulnerable children so that they can have a chance in life. He helps get crime off the streets of Gotham in a violence-less way.
He's Bruce's golden child, the pride and joy of the Wayne family.
He gave up being Robin to make an actual difference.
He also happens to be Red Hood, but shush because no one knows that yet.
