Shadow Milk shifted in the grass, the Garden of Delights was always bright and colorful, something he wasn’t familiar with. Eternal Sugar patted him on the back before gently turning his face to her, he let her.
“Well dear, you seem to be lost, burdened and torn between what was and what could be.” Eternal Sugar tilted her head, her smile light and her eyes lidded. Shadow Milk wasn’t naive, he knew she could be manipulative, but even he knew at the moment she was genuine. She always was to him. All of them.

Shadow Milk is torn between further corruption and redemption. But comfort is easy to fake. Paradise is easier to build when it’s built on lies. Maybe he’ll make his own.
