Summary
Antonia Jones, finally finishing med school with average grades, but a great determination to become a good doctor, never thought her journey of doing so would be cut short by no other than dead people resurrecting with a craving for human flesh. Helpless at first, she joins a small group, containing a sheriff, a widow and her son, two sisters, a pizza delivery driver and other unfamiliar faces she would soon call her friends and family.
Encountering a certain duo of brothers and taking them in, Toni can't seem to shake off the feeling that even though his older brother was all talk, the younger was a lot more interesting than he made himself out to be.
Following the group along their countless missions and search for shelter and maybe even a safe haven, Antonia starts adapting to the terrors around her and makes a lot of strange and life-changing encounters along their journey.
It didn't hurt to keep an eye on the mostly silent hunter, who seemed to be more interested in her than he gave himself credit for.
