Ilya gifted him a smile. “For you, always fun.” Then he added, “Also, Pike, you play this very badly. Like hockey.”
Hayden launched himself to his feet. “Oh, I’m sorry, is this coming from the guy who flops like a dying fish every time someone skates near him?”
Ilya laughed. “Is okay, Pike. Some people are sheep. They follow road. They think they are winning.”
Hayden whipped around to face him. “SHANE, WHY IS YOUR BOYFRIEND LIKE THIS?”
Shane Hollander has a problem: his boyfriend and his best friend hate each other.
His solution: forced bonding through board games, charity work, cooking classes, movie nights, and a double date.

Or: after becoming a bit obsessed with solving the Mystery of Boston Lily, Hayden thinks he finally has it figured out. She must work for the Boston Raiders. Now all he has to do is find her next time he's in Boston and tell her that her and Shane shouldn't have to hide their relationship.
Problem is, the only person he can find is Ilya Rozanov, and Rozanov is being a real dick about the whole thing.
