    Summary

An Epic Poem, written entirely in the iambic pentameter, telling the story of the events that precipitated the Trojan War. From Paris' birth to the landing of the Greek ships at Troy.
This story, in terms of style, is heavily rooted in Homeric epics, whilst using tropes of modern familiar genres such as the Gothic. It tells an ancient pre-war story which appeals to the modern audience, over whom global war seems to be looming once again.
In its entirety, this poem will be 12 Books long, each book lasting around 15 rhapsodies. Rhapsodies are fairly short, and will be taking the form of 'chapters'. And so, although it will only be ~7,000 lines when finished (in a very, very long time from now), don't be put off if the chapter count sits within the hundreds.
