  Summary

  Sirius Black has always told himself that what he feels for Severus Snape is pure hatred, an obsession born in childhood, sharpened by rivalry, resentment and years of mutual contempt. But after Azkaban, after loss, after being reduced to ash, hatred is no longer enough to explain the pull Snape still has on him, and one drunken night, Sirius finally loses the ability to resist what he has been denying all along.
