Cousins Elisabeth Potter and Dorothea Dursley didn't agree on much; they are eight years old and they couldn't be more different, but following the sudden deaths of Petunia and Vernon Dursley they find themselves agreeing on a lot more.
First of all, the man who claims to be their grandfather is suspicious, and not to be trusted blindly; and second of all, their new home is completely– and totally– haunted.
Armed only with their own minds, and the mean one-eyed tom-cat their Grandfather says is named Mister Cy, Elisabeth and Dorothea come up with the new rules: Stay together, stay alert, and keep close to the cat, and hopefully they will find the source of the haunting without needing to involve their Grandfather.
