Bio

I have turned off comments for certain ongoing stories, specifically the ones that are fully planned out but not finished yet. This is because I found I actually have drive to work on those stories if no one is commenting on them. Super weird? But yeah, apparently getting comments on something that I know could be finished guilt trips me and then my brain associates the story with feeling bad, so I avoid it. No comments, no problems. But if the work is largely unplanned, then comments are fine, because there's no way for me to know when the work will be done.

Anyways, I may write a thing, or go goof off with a series of oneshots about an idea that I like, but I'm slow to update. Oneshots being the exception to the rule.

But if I've abandoned a fanfic I'll put it in the summary, not just leave it hanging. So unless the summary has a part saying I've abandoned it, it's just slow to update.

Also I don't really respond to comments anymore; I was so obsessed with it when I started that it drove me to an anxiety attack, and since then I can't look at that story without feeling an insane amount of pressure and guilt. That work has since been orphaned.

Either your comments will be polite and well behaved, or your comments will have no place in my ao3 halls. Also, new rule didn't think I'd need to do it, don't bother trying to find the comment that initiated it because it's gone; do not push Christianity onto me or any of the commenters. No proselytizing, I don't want to hear it, I'm happy with the gods I've got.
