Summary
Fallen from grace apart from her faerie kin, the former member of the Silver Knights, Honey Lavender, had accepted her fate as a pawn to Shadow Milk's schemes years ago. Unbeknownst to her, Shadow Milk knows very little of what they actually want out of their newly-acquired freedom from the Silver Tree— And neither does their Beastly comrades.
Despite the eons spent plotting a means to reclaim control over Earthbread—and potentially, seek vengeance against the Witches—the former Virtues of Cookiekind realize that they don't truly know what they seek in wake of their planned dominion. Shadow Milk, where they once sought to control the world with their lies, soon discovers that perhaps they seek more than deceitful whispers amidst a chaos-wracked world...
However, are they truly willing to abandon their ambition, in favor of what somehow seems far less obtainable than controlling Earthbread?
