Summary
Psychologists say that human beings crave cognitive closure. When a task gets interrupted, the metaphorical pathway to this closure is halted, thus the dopamine rush experienced when a task is completed isn't received.
When having a conversation, a person expects to be able to finish their sentences, to not just be heard, but to be listened to; so if, for some reason, their speech is interrupted, they sometimes can't help but feel a sense of crushing helplessness. A feeling one would hope to never feel again. A feeling so heavy and burdensome nothing feels real anymore, so they dissociate and get too hot and start to feel dizzy and the world starts to spin and this happens over and over until... they snap... because they can't handle it anymore.
