“Do you remember the first time we met Irish boy?” asked the woman in a low voice, hands tight on her gun while she reloaded the weapon, ammunition falling to the ground.
A chuckle rose up from Remmick’s throat, filling the silence of the night. It was light and almost childish at first, but his laughter quickly transformed into a hoarse cough when the boot that held him down started to put more pressure on his sternum, almost making it crack.
