“Don’t do that.” Ellie cut her off. “Don’t do that, ok? This has been the best night of my life. And yeah it might be the last but I’m glad that I at least got to spend it with you.” she pulled back a bit and pressed her forehead to Riley’s.
“I’ll be okay. Go and live your dream. Kick some FEDRA ass for me while you’re at it.” That seemed to pull a small smile out of Riley.
“I will,” she nodded before leaning in and pressing her lips softly against her own.
