Summary
The quiet sorcerer Will lived an equally quiet life on the outskirts of the Byers region, spending most days foraging for berries, painting, avoiding his cruel father, and practicing magic with his twin sister, until he meets a compassionate trio of boys who flip his life upside down. Soon enough, one secret visit into the illustrious Byers Kingdom gets Will roped into a life of royalty, which brings life-threatening danger and heartbreak along with it.
Desperate for an escape from having to witness his sister marry his ex-lover and best friend, Will gives up his position as prince to live a life alone in an apothecary in a faraway land, leaving everything and everyone from his past life in Byers behind.
