Chapter Text
When Taehyung woke up, he didn't know what to do. It was his first time being little around the others. He was happy, but he was alone and nervous. The others had been supportive when he told them about it, but he felt uneasy anyway. He couldn't shake of the feeling that they would be disgusted or even not liking him anymore. Big Taehyung knew it was just irrational thoughts. Everybody had helped him coming up and write down rules, rewards and even punishments. Jungkook even seemed excited, especially since Tae was going to call him 'hyung'.
They even decided to buy him some things. Not much though because they didn't know how this was going to work. If everything went well, they would buy him more.
Taehyung turned his head to the right and opened the bed table's drawer. Inside he saw a light green paci. The item made him whimper. He never knew this day would come, and he couldn't be happier. Reaching out, he took it and hesitantly put the paci in his mouth, relaxing immediately. It made him feel even smaller. It was like all his worries fell away, long forgotten in the back of his mind.
The thought of snuggling with Jimin, Jungkook or just someone made him stand up from his bed. He felt something under his feet and looked down.
"Blankie" he mumbled quietly and picked it up. It was pretty small, but warm, cozy and fluffy. Just like TaeTae liked it. It was light blue with small white dots on it. Being fully content, he proceeded walking out of his room and to the nearest bedroom. He slowly opened the door, although with a little bit of struggle. Turned out it was Jungkook's room. He quickly ran over to him and shook the sleeping boy.
"Kookieee" he said and climbed onto the bed. Jungkook grumbled quietly and turned around. "Wake up, pwease. TaeTae wanna cuddle".
As soon as the maknae heard the boy talking like a child, he turned around again with smile on his lips. He looked at the little with adoration and he couldn't stop himself from letting out a little coo.
"TaeTae, come here" he said and opened his arms. Taehyung looked at him hesitantly, suddenly feeling very shy. It wasn't often he blushed, but now he did because he felt vulnerable as a little. Jungkook immediately felt his discomfort and gave him a smile. "Hey, it's okay, little one. Just lay down and we can cuddle all you want" he said and poked the other's cheek. Taehyung let out the most adorable giggle Jungkook and ever heard and couldn't stop himself from pulling the boy down to his chest. Tae squealed.
"Aren't you just adorable" he cooed and pulled the covers over both of them.
"M'not" Tae said and hid his face in Jungkook's chest while pulling his blankie over his head.
"Yes, you are" he insisted before gasping. "Wait? Where did my little baby go? I can't see TaeTae anywhere?" he exaggerated with a playful smile on his lips. Taehyung quickly pulled his blankie away from his head and gave Jungkook his iconic rectangle smile.
"I'm here, hyungie!" he said and laid down his head down again on his caregiver’s chest. Jungkook chuckled. He wouldn't lie if his heartstrings weren’t pulled a bit when Taehyung called him hyung. It felt strange, but nice.
"And here I thought I lost my baby". He started to card his fingers through Taehyung hair.
"Hyungie?"
"Yes, honey?"
"TaeTae tiwed" he said sleepily behind his pacifier and closed his eyes.
"You wanna sleep some more? It's still early"
That's was the last thing Taehyung heard before he fell into a deep slumber. The heartbeats and deep breaths from his caregiver calming him down quickly. I'm so lucky, he thought before his breathing evened out and he started dreaming.

"Hey, wake up"
Taehyung felt a hand on his head, patting lightly.
"It’s time for some breakfast" Jin-hyung said calmly again and gave the little boy a kiss on the cheek.
"Eww" Tae mumbled tiredly when he felt the wet lips on his cheeks. He slowly opened his eyes and rubbed them with closed fists. When he opened them again, he didn't see Jungkook anymore, he whined desperately after his caregiver.
"Kookie-hyung is already in the kitchen. You're a hard one to wake up, little one" Seokjin said and gave Tae a comforting smile.
"Appa?" Taehyung said. And know he also realised he didn't have his paci between his lips anymore. He whined once again and pointed to his mouth.
"Hungry?" Jin asked confused. What would the little boy need, he thought. He was new to this and he couldn't read little TaeTae as well as big Taehyung.
"Nooooo" he whined again, and if his Appa didn't understood what he needed, then he was not far from starting to cry. Jin looked down at Taehyung that had glazed over eyes. The hurting sight made him avert his eyes down. And lucky that he did, because he saw the abandoned paci and picked it up.
"Is this what you wanted, baby?" be asked carefully and showed the beloved item to the little. Tae's frown quickly disappeared and was replaced with a big smile, his cheeks dusting a bit pink.
Tae pulled his hand out in front of Jin as he begged. "Paci! Can I pwease have it, Appa?"
"Of course" he answered, but instead of placing it in Tae's hand, he put it in the little's mouth. Tae hummed happily as he was finally comforted. He felt safe. "Time for breakfast, honey" he said and stood up. Jin started walking away but stopped immediately when he heard a small "Appa". He turned around and saw Taehyung making grabby hands.
"You want Appa to carry you?" he asked and cocked his head slightly to the side. Taehyung just hummed, nodding a little and pouted behind his paci. Seokjin cooed at the sight.
"Okay, if that's what my baby wants". He walked back to the boy and carefully lifted him up to place him on his hips. Tae snuggled and hid his face in his caregiver’s neck. They walked in silence to the kitchen where all the others already had started eating. As soon as they entered all the eyes were on Taehyung. He could feel the burning in his back. Jin heard him whining quietly and saw the blush deepen.
"Hey, it's okay. They just wanna see how cute our baby is" he said encouragingly and hugged him a bit tighter as comfort. Tae visibly relaxed and even smiled a bit. Seokjin set him down on a chair by the table between himself and Namjoon.
"Aww, aren't you adorable" the leader said and ruffled his soft hair. Taehyung blushed deeply and hid his face behind his hands. Someone let a loud squeak at the sight and this time it wasn't the little one. It was Hosoek. He stood up from his chair and ran over to the boy. He squeezed Taehyung's cheeks between his hands and gave him a small kiss on his nose. Everybody around the table either cooed or laughed.
"You're so cute!"
"Thank you, Hobi" he said quietly around his paci and turned around to Namjoon. "Thank you too, Papa".
Jin thought he would die from the cuteness and from the fond smiles on Yoongi's and Jimin's face, he could tell they thought so too.
"Sorry to disturb this precious moment, but it's time for breakfast" Seokjin said and Hoseok went back to his seat. They all started to eat except Taehyung and Namjoon.
"What does TaeTae want to eat, huh? he asked. Taehyung looked up at Namjoon with big eyes, but didn't answer, still sucking on his pacifier. "You gotta eat something, little one. Maybe small fruit bites?" he suggested, but still got no answer. "Toast?" "Egg and bacon?" "Smoothie?" "Pancakes?"
"Bancwakes!" Taehyung shouted suddenly, his paci falling out of his mouth. "TaeTae wants pancakes. Pwease Papa". His smile was big. Namjoon looked at Seokjin.
"I don't want to make you do pancakes... but I know you don't let me near the stove soo.."
"Yeah, yeah, I'll do it. Anything for our baby"
