Chapter 1: Like a Girl
Chapter Text
Where were those fucking bandages? He couldn’t go out in public looking like this. Like a girl.
Katsuki couldn’t afford a binder, the school fees were too high and not mention food and other necessities needed to be bought as well. So he just settled for bandages and layering. Yes, he knew it wasn’t smartest or safest way, but what other option did he have?
He wrapped the bandages around his chest tightly and then placed on a sports bra that was a couple of sizes too small. He needed to hide his chest.
Nobody could know that he wasn’t actually a guy, nobody could know he was trans. If anybody found out he would no longer be respected. He would no longer be able to become the number one pro-hero.
Once he felt like his chest was covered enough he placed on his shirt loosely along with the rest of his uniform. Keeping his uniform crumpled and untidy meant slight lumps on his chest wouldn’t be noticed, or maybe they’d just be passed off as pecks. Either one was fine as long as nobody found out he was biologically female.
He walked out of his dorm slouching, not much had changed since their first year, other than the fact Hitoshi joined their class.
He had managed to make it through the first year with anyone finding out but it was just going to get harder as they got older and he matured more in a physical way.
Katsuki had been considering getting a Mastectomy but it would hinder his training to become the number one hero and he couldn’t fall behind that shitty nerd, Deku, so it’d just have to wait.
He was currently getting testosterone injections weekly without telling anyone, other than his doctor of course.
He rarely went home anymore, he would lie and tell he was busy. Usually, he’d get his testosterone injections early on a Saturday morning then come back to train.
Only eight people knew about his ‘condition’ and that was both his parents, Principal Nezu, Aizawa, All Might, his doctor and Shitty Deku. And the only reason they know is because he didn’t have much other choice. Deku quickly figured it out on his own from them being childhood friends, and he didn’t want to continue living life as a girl, living with the feeling of being tortured by his own body, so he told the people necessary to help his transition.
As Katsuki arrived at the classroom he could hear everyone talking inside. For no reason, in particular, his dysphoria was much worse today than most other days and he really didn’t want to enter the classroom but he had to. He couldn’t fall behind. So he took a deep breath and entered the classroom with his regular scowl on his face, silently praying nobody would catch onto the slight change in his mood.
Soon after he sat down at his desk Aizawa entered the classroom. They all exchanged their regular greetings before class began.
The class went by in a blur, Katsuki couldn’t remember the majority of the stuff they had talked about. He was distracted and Eijirou had noticed.
“Hey, Bakubro!” He called out after him as they exited class for their lunch break, although Katsuki ignored him.
“Bakugou! Wait up!” He exclaimed as he jogged to catch up. Once he had he placed his hand on Kastuki’s shoulder and made him turn around to face him, “Hey, what’s going on man? Something up? You were really out of it in class.”
Of course Eijirou would notice, only he would. The bloody caring bastard.
“Nothing is wrong, I’m fine,” he said in an attempt to brush the other male off but of course, it wasn’t that easy.
Eijirou wouldn’t let him go though, he would keep pushing and there wasn’t a damn thing Katsuki could do about it.
He sighed as Eijirou continued to push at what was possibly wrong with him. He could feel his anger rising up, he just wanted to ignore his issues, not face them. At least not these issues anyways.
“Oi, Shitty-hair. Shut the fuck up.” He growled lowly, he didn’t want to talk about it, especially with Eijirou. He actually considered the red-haired idiot a friend, a good friend, even if he wouldn’t admit it. He was afraid of what would happen if he found out, he didn’t want the other to think less of him.
Luckily Eijirou got the clue and backed off as they entered the cafeteria.
They grabbed a lunch tray each and then walked over to the table that they always sat at with Mina, Kyoka, Denki, Hanta and more recently Hitoshi as he wanted to sit with his boyfriends.
Eijirou sat down and slid over to beside Mina before Kastuki sat down next to him. On the other side of the table were the three lovebirds, Denki, Hanta and Hitoshi, while poor Kyoka was on just a chair at the end of the table.
Mina had started calling the group the Baku-squad at some point last year and it kind of just stuck, now the majority of them just called it that, despite Katsuki telling them not to multiple times, in the end, he just gave up.
Anyways, as the group were talking about random things and he hadn’t been really paying any attention until a certain topic came up.
“My cousin came out as non-binary last week! I’m so proud of them!”
Denki seemed to be beaming with pride and soon they were talking about his cousin.
Denki’s cousin often hung out with the group of friends when they went to the movies or anything like that, so they were all very excited and happy for the person.
Soon they were discussing what their preferred name was so they wouldn’t make them upset when they saw them.
They were all so relaxed about it, but Katsuki felt overwhelmed. He didn’t want to listen to this conversation any longer, so he got up and left in a hurry, which didn’t go unnoticed.
As Katsuki stormed his way back to the dorms for the rest of lunch murmurs broke out amongst the group of friends as to what could have upset him so much that he stormed off without a word.

Eijirou looked at his friend with concern as he ran off. It was out of character for him to run off like that, sure he lost his temper a lot but Katsuki would usually yell at them when angry. He never ran off.
As the rest of the table continued to murmur about what upset him, one idea came up the Eijirou could not allow himself to accept.
“Maybe Bakugou is Transphobic.”
Immediately he went to defend his friend.
“No way! Bakubro couldn’t possibly be transphobic! He’s not like that!” He quickly exclaimed. No way could Katsuki be transphobic, he wasn’t the kind of person to judge people based on their gender or sexuality! Right?
Then again, he did bully Izuku a lot because he was supposedly quirkless, and it’s not like the poor guy could help the fact his quirk developed late.
There was evidence that was shown he was an asshole to people that couldn’t control things, and now that he thinks about it, anytime someone mentions something to do with trans people or a similar topic, hell, whenever people start discussing gender in any way he gets up all upset and rushes off.
All the evidence pointed towards him being transphobic.
Eijirou was starting to believe that he was as well.
No way could he let his friend be transphobic. He’d just have to prove Katsuki wrong, that trans people were valid and amazing and that they weren’t bad. That way they could still be friends and he wouldn’t have to ruin the friendship he’d built because Katsuki couldn’t respect other people.
Being Transphobic wasn’t at all manly after all.
Eijirou spent the rest of their lunch break silent, planning some different ways to show Katuki how transgender people we just as cool as normal people.
With the plan created within his mind, he quickly tried his best to explain it to the rest of the group of friends.
They nod along as he explains his plan and agrees to do their part, mission ‘Make Bakubro understand Trans people are Manly too’ is a go!
The bell signalling that their lunch break had ended went off everywhere throughout the school so quickly they got up and made their way back to the classroom, everyone else, including Katsuki was there and ready to begin their English lesson with Present Mic.
They had a new seating plan which involved basically the entirety of the squad in the seats around Katsuki, with eijirou on his right, denki on his left, mina in front, sero behind and Hitoshi behind denki and on the left of sero. To say Katsuki wasn’t initially happy with the new seating plan was an understatement.
Katsuki was extremely grumpy about the seating plan originally, though he did work up to it and was grateful that at least he wasn’t near shitty deku again.
Eijirou sat down when Present Mic walked in, as did the rest of the class and soon enough the entire class was underway.
The first half of the class was silent, everyone quickly taking notes and paying attention but about halfway through Present Mic got called out because of an emergency or something of the sort. Once he’d left the classroom everyone started chatting as they didn’t really have anything to do for the rest of that period.
Eijirou turned to Katsuki with a giant grin as he pulled his phone out of his bag.
He quickly opened up an instagram profile of a random guy and showed it to him.
“Hey Bakubro! Look at how cool and manly this guy is!” He exclaimed as Katsuki quickly glance over the phone and nodded.
He did have to agree, the guy's profile made him look pretty cool. He had a bunch of photos and videos of him riding a motorbike, and he wasn’t half bad looking, which was a lot coming from Katsuki.
“Yeah alright, he looks pretty cool,” He muttered which caused Eijirou’s eyes to light up.
“I know! You wouldn’t even be able to tell he is trans without someone telling you!” Eijirou said with a cheer which immediately caused Katsuki to look down and away from the phone.
“You know being trans is hella manly bro, I have respect for those people. To be able to change your appearance to match you really are takes guts and-”
“Shut up.”
Katsuki quickly got out and stormed off again, afraid if he stayed he’d either explode or burst into tears and he most definitely didn’t want the latter to happen.
Had Eijirou discovered out he was trans and trying to act really cool about it so that he’d come out to him? How many other people had Eijirou told? Does everyone know?
He could feel his heart racing, his palms sweating and starting to spark up. This wasn’t good. He needed to find somewhere quiet to calm down or else he was going to have a panic attack.
He used a wall to hold himself up as his breathing became fast and sharp and his vision started to blur.
He quickly realised he was hyperventilating and tried to calm himself down but that didn’t work and black spots started appearing in his vision.
The last thing he remembers before everything went dark was a blurry figure running towards him.
----------
When Katsuki came to he had to quickly shield his eyes from the bright light that was shining in his face. Once his eyes had adjusted to the light he looked around and quickly realised he was in recovery girls office.
“Why the hell am I here?” he growled out lowly which caused recovery girl to turn and face him.
“Oh! You’re awake!” She said with her normal smile, completely ignoring his question.
Katsuki repeated his question again, causing recovery girl to sigh.
“You know why you’re here boy. Don’t act stupid, we both know you aren’t. You’re lucky Todoroki found you as you fell and managed to break your fall! That would’ve left a nasty bump on your head if he hadn’t!” She said, filling into Katsuki that Shoto was the blurry figure he saw running towards him.
He was about to speak up when Recovery Girl cut him off again. “What you’re doing is dangerous my boy. Those layers will constrict your breathing, which probably didn’t help you during that panic attack of yours. You should have told me about your ‘condition’. I need to know these things so I can help.”
He just nodded at what she said. He knew he shouldn’t be doing what he was doing but he had no other option.
Katsuki mumbled a thank you to Recovery Girl for her help before he made his way to his dorm room, Recovery Girl had basically forbade him from back to class for the rest of the day. Told him he needed to take his chest out his makeshift binder and give it a break. She said if he desperately wanted to go back to class, he'd just have to go with a regular bra but he was NOT going to do that. So he’d just have to hang out in his dorm studying for the rest of the day.
He had changed into just a singlet and sweatpants, no bra or binder, after all, he wasn’t allowed to wear his ‘binder’ and he swore that bras were literally made to torture people and no other reason.
He spent the next couple hours lounging around his room with no intention of leaving for the rest of the night.
In fact, his afternoon was going surprisingly well and peaceful with no more incidents since his panic attack. Well, that was until he heard a knock at his dorm room door.
“Hey, Bakugou! Are you in there? I heard from Todoroki that you were sick so I brought you some soup to make you feel better!”
All Katsuki could think at that exact moment was ‘Fuck’.

Chapter Text
Ejirou knocked again, trying to get Katsuki’s attention, “Come on man, I know you’re in there!” He called out. He was worried about his friend, “I know you don’t like help but sometimes it’s good to accept it, especially from friends!” He continued to bug Katsuki.
Katsuki however, was throwing stuff around on the other side of the door, trying to find a majorly oversized hoodie knowing that Ejirou would not leave without seeing him and making sure he was fine.
Katsuki would’ve just bandaged up his chest again but Recovery Girl had already taken them off him. She said that he could get them back tomorrow but he needed to be much more careful. If he wasn’t then she said she’d take them away again but this time he wouldn’t get the back and he did not want that.
Once he found his oversized hoodie he through it on and shifted it around to make sure his chest wasn’t too noticeable. He then went over to the door and opened it with a huff.
“What do you want shitty hair?” he grumbled out as he stood in the doorway.
Ejirou, of course, just pushed by him with a smile and walked into Katsuki’s room, “I heard you were sick so I bought you some leftover soup from dinner, You need to eat to keep your strength up so you can get better man!”
Katsuki was quick to roll his eyes, “I’m fine, now get out.” Every moment the other could see him with another moment that he could notice something wasn’t ‘right’, if Ejirou stared for too long at his chest, it was over, if he didn’t know already.
“Look Bakugou, we need to talk. I know you don’t really like trans people but being transphobic isn’t manly dude, I mean-”
“I’m not a transphobic asshole. If you are a trans woman you’re a fucking woman. If you're a trans guy your a fucking guy. I couldn’t give two shits about what’s between your legs.”
Ejirou’s mouth was open and it took him a minute to process what Katsuki had said before he let out a sigh of relief. He just knew he wasn’t like that, he turned back to the other male with a smile and gave him a thumbs up.
Katsuki also sighed in relief but mentally, so that’s what everything was about earlier, Eijirou had thought he was transphobic, he hadn’t figured out he was actually trans, which gave him one less thing to worry about.
Now all Katsuki needed to do was to get the other out of his room, so he could relax. It was hot in his room and the jumper he was wearing was exactly helping him cool down. He was sweating up a storm in it.
Ejirou had managed notice how warm he’d gotten as well, of course, he would, “Hey bro you look really hot, maybe you should take the jumper off and cool down-”
“No!” Once again Katsuki had cut him off. He only had a singlet on underneath and the would definitely reveal his little secret to the other, and he could not have that.
Of course, this confused Ejirou, “Dude, you’re sweating up a storm, you look like you’re about to pass out!” He exclaimed as he placed his hands on the other shoulders and pretty much forced Katsuki to take a seat on his bed.
Katsuki quickly whacked away the other's hands and cursed him out about touching him. He usually didn’t care too much when it was the redhead who touched him but this was a different situation, one he definitely didn’t like.
Ejirou frowned, he just wanted to help his friend but he couldn’t do anything unless the other let him, but he knew how stubborn Katsuki was, he knew he wouldn’t accept anyone's help unless it was forced onto him.
The redhead had made up his mind, he was going to help the other even if he didn’t want to accept it.
He looked the blonde dead in the eyes and handed him the soup before he demanded that he eat it.
Katsuki could see how serious Ejirou was being about this, he could probably escape but it wasn’t worth the effort so he grumbled lowly and ate the soup.
Once he had finished it he looked up as the redhead with a sigh, “Look, I ate the shitty fucking soup so can you leave me alone now?”
Ejirou shook his head, “No way am I leaving until I know that you are fine, which means you can’t look like your about to pass out from heatstroke. Off with the jumper!” he exclaimed.
Once again Katsuki refused, he was not taking off the jumper and he made that very clear to Ejirou.
The redhead wouldn’t take no for an answer and began trying to force the jump the blonde.
Katsuki tried to explode the other but he just ended up hardening his skin, rendering his explosions useless.
This wasn’t good, if he didn’t manage to get the redhead off him his secret is out and he could not have that.
Katsuki continued to try and push Ejirou off him unsuccessfully. It wasn’t looking good for him.
Ejirou had managed to pin the blonde down on the bed in a compromised position, but despite that he couldn’t escape the position.
The red-haired boy sighed, “Sorry bro, but I'm trying to help you out here.” He said. He was about to lift off the jumper when he noticed two bumps on the other male's chest.
Katsuki took that opportunity to push him off and onto the floor before quickly covering his chest with his arms and turning to face the wall.
“Did you get hit by a quirk? Is that what Todoroki meant by sick?” He asked softly one he took a moment to process it all.
Katsuki, however, shook his head, “No, I didn’t get hit by a quirk.” He said in possibly the softest tone of voice that had ever been heard from him, which granted, wasn’t that soft but for it to come from him it was.
Ejirou was confused now, “Then what? Tell me what’s going on Bakugou!” He exclaimed, he wanted to help his friend but he couldn’t do that unless he told him what was going on.
“Kirishima, I’m a fucking chick.”

Chapter Text
“Kirishima, I’m a fucking chick.”
“What?”
“You heard me, I’m a chick, I don’t have a dick.”
Ejirou took a minute to process what he was saying again. Once he had he looked over at Katsuki who uncharacteristically looked like he was about to burst into tears despite the fact he was trying to cover it up badly.
Ejirou began to speak again but Katsuki was quick to cut him off by telling him to shut up.
He didn’t want the redheads false words of comfort, he wanted silence. He wanted calm. He didn’t want to be treated like some weak frail girl!
However, he didn’t give up, the blonde needed to hear these words, he just didn’t know it yet.
“Just because you don’t have a dick, doesn’t mean you aren’t a guy or you aren’t manly. In fact, you’re the manliest guy I know and nothing can change that!”
Katsuki’s eyes brimmed with tears but he quickly wiped them away. Why was he so emotional all of a sudden? This was so stupid! He hated this! He hated that he had been born a female! He hated that he never felt comfortable in his own body! He hated this so much! Why couldn’t he have been born a male? Why did he have to go through all this trouble?
He was angry and he was hurting, he couldn’t control his emotions.
He muttered something under his breath, something that was directed towards the redhead but he didn’t hear and asked the other to repeat himself.
“I said get the fuck outta my dorm shitty hair!” He screamed at the male, tears once again building up in the corner of his eyes. He couldn’t let the other see him cry or see him vulnerable. Not now, not ever. He couldn’t be seen as weak!
Ejirou held his hands up to show he meant no harm to the hurting boy in front of him, he quickly and cautiously made his way out of the room with a sigh. Katsuki would never open up to him unless he trusted him with his whole heart, something that seemed to be difficult for the blonde to do at any given time.
He just wanted to help his friend, but he couldn’t do that unless he let him and he wouldn’t let him help. It was frustrating.
The moment the redhead was out of his room he quickly got up to close and lock the door. Once that was done he pressed his back to the door and slowly slid down until he was hugging his knees.
Not even moments later, the tough, ‘better than everyone’, Katsuki Bakugou was sobbing into his knees, cursing himself out. How could he have let this happen? He didn’t know, he was always so careful, always covering up, he didn’t a single item of tight clothing, he always wore the ace bandages, no matter how dangerous it was, he’d wake up before everyone else in the dorms to have a shower, he kept his door locked of a night usually so that no one could see him so vulnerable.
Katsuki sat there for a good ten or so minutes before he finally managed to calm down.
Once he was calm he got up and went over to his desk, immediately sitting down and logging onto his computer. He couldn’t take feeling like this anymore, he needed to do something about it.
---
Katsuki had no idea how late he stayed up the night before, he’d passed out at his desk, his computer still open on what he was looking at earlier. He woke up to a knock at his door, tired and confused as to why he was at his desk when all the memories came flooding back.
He got up and threw open the door forgetting that he was only wearing a loose-fitting shirt and a pair of sweatpants. He was lucky it was only Izuku.
“Kacchan you missed class yesterday and weren’t there this morning. I thought I would check on you.”
Katsuki glanced back at his computer to check the time when the greenette said he’d missed the morning classes. It was 11:56am. Shit.
Izuku glanced past the explosive blonde and got a glimpse of his computer screen, immediately worried by what he saw.
“Kacchan that’s dangerous, you could do more damage than help. I know you want to transition fully but these things take time, don’t rush it.” He said, worry lacing his voice. He had done his research the moment Katsuki had told him that he wasn’t actually female, he wanted to be there for his childhood friend.
“Shut it Deku! You don’t know shit! You’re just some worthless loser.” The blonde hadn’t meant to explode, he hadn’t blown up like that without reason in a few months now seeing as the two usually got along nowadays.
The greenette sighed, knowing very well about his childhood friends short temper and how to not act. Instead, he shrugged, “I’m worried for you Kacchan, and so are you’re other friends. You should talk to them.” With that last piece of advice, Izuku left Katsuki to his thoughts.
---
Katsuki didn’t show up to class for the rest of the day, claiming he was still sick. He let Izuku’s words and worries swirl around his mind before pushing them aside.
He couldn’t let the greenette or redhaired losers’ thoughts get to him. He had to be firm with his decisions. He couldn’t back down, who would people see him as then? Someone who could get pressured easily? Who would that for their prohero? He needed to stick with what he chose originally. He needed to be more stubborn about this.
He made his final choice. He needed to do this for himself, even if it wasn’t advised, even if there was a higher risk of something going wrong, he needed this. He didn’t know how much he could take of his own mind abusing him though his thoughts before he snapped.
He had no room for doubt to grow.

Chapter Text
Katsuki knew what he was doing was dangerous, but it had to help. Right? Besides, what was the worst that could really happen?
He made his way from one doctor's office to another, It was 8:30am and he got his Testosterone shots at 8am every Saturday, well he’d gotten them but he was now making his way to another doctors surgery to get another. Lying on the application he filled out saying he wasn’t receiving any testosterone as the current time, but he had been getting them previously.
This meant he’d be getting double the amount of hormones, which in theory, should make him more masculine faster, right?
He was grateful that his first doctor was really careful with his shots, never leaving a noticeable mark unless you looked extremely close. He wasn’t quite as lucky with the second doctor they’d do.
By the time the two shots were administered by the different doctors and he was on his way back to the dorms it was 9am and he knew that someone would question why he was out so early.
Usually, he’d be back just everyone started waking up so nobody questioned him but he was worried now that he’d come back later some would want answers. Answers he’s not yet ready to share.
Luckily when he gets back he managed to slip through everyone unnoticed. At least that’s what he thought, but Izuku noticed his late arrival, and with his knowledge of Katsuki’s usual Saturday morning routine, seeing as the two are usually up at about the same time and when the other gets back he is usually in the middle of his regular work out, he knew something was up.
Katsuki would never open up to him though, and he had a pretty good idea of what Katsuki was doing. He’d done his research and knew it was dangerous. The blonde would deny it and refuse to listen to any advice the greenette had to give though. He was just stubborn like that.
So with that knowledge, Izuku went to Ejirou. He knew the two were close, he didn’t however, know if Katsuki had told the redhead about him being transgender yet. He needed to be cautious about this and see if he knew without giving it away.
If the other knew, he could help the stubborn blonde but if he didn’t, it wasn’t Izuku’s place to tell him. It had to be Katsuki that told him.
Izuku knocked on the redhaired boy's dorm door and waited. It was about 9:30-10ish now so he assumed the other would be up and training like most Saturdays.
He was right. Ejirou answered the door, slightly sweaty with his hands in wraps, signalling he’d been practising his punches on his punching bag.
“What’s up Mido? Can I help you with something?” The other inquired, his friendly demeanour still as strong as ever. Izuku doubted the other had a bad bone in his body.
The greenette, of course, gave a quick as the redhead moved aside to let him in.
He quickly walked into the room and shut the door, letting Ejirou know this was a private matter, while his facial expression let him know it was serious.
“Kirishima-Kun, do you perhaps know anything that's happened to Kacchan recently?” He asked softly, hoping the other would get the hint.
He did. “Yeah, this is about him being trans right? You’re his childhood friend you must know, seeing as you probably knew him before he uhh.. transitioned..? That’s what it’s called right?”
Izuku nodded, “I think he might be doing something dangerous but he never listens to me. You’ll talk to him for me, right? He listens to you. He sees you as an equal.” He was practically begging, but he really cared for the short-tempered blonde. He was like the brother he never had, even if the other didn’t feel the same way.
The redhaired boy sighed and nodded, agreeing to help out his bro. After all, what kind of friend would he be if he didn’t stop the blonde from doing something stupid and hurting himself?
The greenette thanked him, it was clear he had made the right choice to go to Ejirou. He just hoped that the proud, egotistical boy hadn’t done anything too damaging just yet.
The two boys parted with goodbyes, Izuku relieved to know that Ejirou would try to talk to Katsuki, while Ejirou was worried for his friend.
The redhead quickly made his way to the blondes dorm room and knocked on his door, which was quickly thrown open with a huff. Katsuki had his binder on now so he was a lot less hesitant to open his door to people.
“The fuck do you want Shitty-Hair?” He growled out lowly, letting the other know he wasn’t in the mood for useless visits from anyone.
Ejirou just ignored his grumpy friend's rude greeting and made his way inside. He wasn’t going to waste time, he was just going to get straight to the point.
“Look man, Mido and I were talking, and well, we’re worried about you,” Katsuki went to cut in but Ejirou didn’t let him, “Now hold your horses, we ain’t looking down on you or anything, but we want to help, make this whole thing easier for you. I know you’re tough as nails and you don’t need help, but it’d be nice just to let us help you.”
Of course, Katsuki was quick to turn down the offer for help, so the redhead decided to become even blunter as he clearly couldn’t get through to the stubborn blondes head.
“Getting more Testosterone than your body can handle is bad for you bro, even I know that.” He said with a sigh before he turned and walked out the door. There wasn’t any point in trying to talk sense into him at this moment when he had his heart set on not listening. He was too stubborn for his own good.
Katsuki however, just watched as the redhead walked out the door dumbfounded. How had he discovered what he was doing so quickly?
Notes:
I'm going to reinforce what I said at the beginning, please do not get extra Testosterone/Estrogen shots. It's so dangerous and not worth it. It doesn't make the effects happen faster only can cause a higher blood count and other health issues.
On a more positive note; Thank you all so much for the support! I love reading every comment no matter what it says and I always try to reply to everyone! You guys are amazing! <3
Chapter 6: Actually Just a Weak Little Girl
Summary:
I want everyone to understand that getting extra testosterone shots is extremely bad for you! It causes hormone imbalance, which can lead to uterine bleeding, blood clots, excess testosterone converting into oestrogen, which will lead to the opposite effect of what you want. Please be safe guys!

Chapter Text
Katsuki continued to get his extra testosterone shots despite all the warnings and the physical symptoms that were starting to show. It seemed his period had started again, but he shrugged it off even though he knew it was irregular.
He just kept going, pretending it was nothing. Who cared as long as he could get his results quicker?
Though as more time passed the worse he seemed to feel. He had started to get cramps, though not remembering getting them previously before he started his testosterone shots, he had heard that heaps of women get them so he once again, shrugged it off.
The concern grew however when it had been ten days and the bleeding hadn’t stopped. Maybe it was longer because he hadn’t had his period in over two years now. He knew that was highly unlikely but he tried to convince himself nothing was wrong.
Every day he got concerned looks from both Ejirou and Izuku when they saw him, it made him want to blow their faces off. Who were they to look down on him?
Somehow though, Katsuki managed to keep his temper. It had been just over a month since the redhead confronted him about his foolish choice but the blonde was just too stubborn to let his friend help him.
He made his way to class and slid into his seat, watching as everyone else slowly made their way into the classroom and to their own seats and not long after Aizawa entered and began the class.
About halfway through the class, Katsuki got hit with such an awful wave of cramps he had to bite his tongue to stop himself from crying out in pain. He just kept his head on the desk until the wave passed, causing his friends to pass worried glances.
Once the wave passed Katsuki quickly realised he didn’t have the energy to continue this in class so he raised his hand and asked to be dismissed from class and Aizawa, also noticing his unusual behaviour, nodded to let him go.
As soon as he had permission the blonde threw all his stuff into his bag and hurried out of the classroom before he was hit with another wave of cramps and embarrassed himself in front of the entire class.
He planned to go back to the dorms but he didn’t make it there in time before the cramps started again so he quickly ducked into the closest bathroom and locked himself in a stall, trying his hardest to not cry from the pain but in the end, he gave in to the pain.
And so there he sat, in the girls’ bathroom, crying.
Tap tap tap
“Hey! Are you okay in there?” A very kind, feminine voice rang out. She only wanted to help whoever was crying out.
He didn’t answer her though. After all, what would happen if anybody found out that the Loud, Rude, Sharp-tongued Katsuki Bakugou, who was always angry and better than the rest, was actually just a weak little girl?
Nothing good that’s what. Eijirou had already found out, along with Shoto and Izuku. The teachers now knew as well. He didn’t need anyone else to know. Too many people know already.
---
Ejirou turned to his friends after Katsuki stormed out. As much as he wanted to run to his friend’s aid, he couldn’t. He’d just have to wait until after class to check on him.
“We need to abort our mission ‘Make Bakubro understand Trans people are Manly too’. He ain’t transphobic.” The redhead stated to their group of friends so they would lay off.
It had been over a month since they made the plans and Ejirou had thought they’d forgotten until he heard them making plans that morning.
He couldn’t have them making his best bro feel like shit without knowing, and their plan was crazy. They wanted to dress him up like a girl and try to show him how it feels to not look like your correct gender. It was certainly not the smartest plan, plus Katsuki already knew what that was like, not that the others know.
Thankfully though, the others trusted Ejirou enough to not question it and just let it go, which he was grateful for.
---
Katsuki remained in the bathroom stall, the girl had given up on coaxing him out after trying for over 15 minutes. He wasn’t budging so in the end, she left.
He waited five minutes more before poking his head out the stall and making sure the coast was clear before he made a dash for his dorm.
Except he didn’t make it.
It felt like someone was sitting on his chest and making it hard for him to breathing, his entire body was aching, hands sweating and just this awful feeling that something was seriously wrong.
All the signs were pointing towards another panic attack but something told him it wasn’t that, so he changed his direction and quickly ran to recovery girls office.
He rapped on the door quickly and it took a minute for the older lady to respond but she did, and her smile quickly fell when she saw the pale boy, on the verge of collapsing, at her door.
She dragged the boy into her office and basically forced him to sit down on a bed, not that he complained.
She had taken one look at him and noticed something was seriously wrong. She grabbed her notebook and wrote down anything she could think of that could possibly be causing this.
It didn’t take long before the blonde had been attached to a bunch of machines, and the irregular heartbeat that was showing on the monitor was a huge telltale sign as to what was wrong, and she went to ask him about it but Katsuki was unconscious.
That made her decision final, an ambulance was called and the explosive, blonde boy was taken off to hospital quicker than anyone could even say kacchan.
Notes:
so, what do you guys think is happening to our poor kacchan?
Also! I can't believe how well this fic is going! I'm so proud and I always smile at every comment, thank you so much for the support.

Chapter Text
Katsuki doesn’t remember much. He doesn’t remember the ambulance being called, he doesn’t remember being put on the stretcher, he doesn’t remember the majority of the drive to the hospital.
The only part he remembers is coming into consciousness, just barely, on the way to the hospital and he let out the most agonising scream he’d ever heard.
He doesn’t even realise he’s making the noise, all he can feel is this excruciating pain, throbbing throughout his entire body.
He didn’t recognise his voice and the only way he knew it was his was after about thirty seconds, when his throat was raw, that he knew that awful screaming was his.
After that, the last thing he remembered hearing was a strange woman voice demanding another person to quickly sedate him.
The rest of the trip was seemingly uneventful, well about as uneventful as a ten-minute ambulance ride can get.
Once they arrived at the hospital one of the paramedics rushed over to debrief the doctor of the situation.
Quickly as he arrived he was wheeled to the emergency room, not aware of what was happening.
Loud noises, beeping and people yelling orders as the blonde was hooked up to a multitude of cords and machines.
Hours seemed to pass but when in reality it had only been five minutes. Both Aizawa and Ejirou had arrived at the hospital, having run, two red lights and most likely breaking the speed limit. They were lucky to manage to avoid the police and traffic.
The red-haired boy was crying, though he was trying to cover it up, not wanting his teacher to notice. Though despite his best efforts the soft and occasional sniffle would sleep by and alert the sleep-deprived man of his student’s emotional state.
Aizawa was awful with dealing with emotions, he knew this, so he settled for just rubbing his students back in an attempt to console him.
News Flash! It didn’t.
In fact the red-haired boy started crying more, ugly sobs escaping past his lips without his permission.
“This is all my fault.”
That sentence took the tired man by surprise. He couldn’t comprehend why Ejirou would blame himself for this situation. For what he had heard, Katsuki was suffering from a heart attack, caused by a blood clot. How on earth could the boy have been at fault?
It took him a minute to decide whether he should ask or not, in the he decided he should. It could help Ejirou get whatever was bothering him off his chest and maybe fill in some more gaps of what happened.
So he asked.
The moment he did the redhead spilt his guts. Telling Aizawa everything about what happened. How Katsuki had been getting extra testosterone shots and despite knowing, not being able to stop him.
Aizawa nodded in understanding, he knew where Ejirou was coming from and why he felt at fault, he needed to make him understand that he wasn’t though.
“You tried to stop him, that’s the best you could have done. He was too stubborn to listen to his friends and now he’s facing the consequences. This isn’t your fault and it never will be.” He said, hoping that if offered some form of comfort to the crying boy.
He just nodded and wiped his tears away, trying to put on a brave smile, even if it’s not for himself, but everyone else.
---
A couple days passed and by then Ejirou had been forced home to take a shower and eat.
Though it didn’t take long for him to return with the rest of their friend group.
Their routine was the same for those few days. Arrive, sit in the waiting room hoping for any news, drag Ejirou home that night and repeat.
He was a mess. His normally spiked-up red hair was greasy and most definitely not spiked up. He was so much of a mess he skipped his hair dye top up and now had his black roots on show, not that he cared.
Aizawa had cancelled classes for until Katsuki was awake as none of the students were focused on the work, not that the ‘Bakusquad’ were planning on showing up anyways.
After three days of this routine news came.
The doctor who was treating Katsuki came out to see his group of friends in the waiting room.
He had woken up.
Without a second of hesitation, the group of friends ploughed through the hospital and to the room they were told that he was in, and true to the doctor's words, the blonde's eyes were open. Though he still had tubes everywhere, they were open.
Ejirou was the first to let the tears fall as he ran to the blondes side,, then Mina, then Denki and Hanta who were comforted by their boyfriend as they sobbed.
Ejirou tears soon turned to loud ugly sobs. Half of him wanted to punch Katsuki for making him worry so much but the other half was just happy that his friend was okay.
“Dammit, Bakugou! Don’t do that shit to me again okay!” he cried out, but the blonde only responded by raising his hand weakly and attempting to whack his hand, though it was only like a pat.
The doctor had said he wouldn’t get his strength back to talk properly for a couple of days and another week at least before he could sit up without assistance, which frustrated him to no end, but he didn’t fight it. Not if it meant longer for him to go back to training, which it did.
His friends stuck around until visiting hours were over, explaining to him what he missed and how much they missed him. Before they left they promised to visit again tomorrow and to tell everyone back at school that he was okay.
Now that they were gone, Katsuki could finally get some rest, which, as much as he cares about his friends (even if he won’t admit it), he was grateful for the rest.
However, before he got the chance to shut his eyes, the doctor walked in.
“Bakugou-San, we need to talk.”

Chapter 8: Weak, Disgusting Girl
Summary:
MAJOR TRIGGER WARNING

Chapter Text
Katsuki huffed, what did this doctor need to talk about that he couldn’t wait to talk about? Now that he thought more on it, this most certainly wasn’t his usual doctor, in fact, he’d never seen this many before.
One small snarky remark telling the doctor to get out caused the older man’s kind facade to drop.
“That is no way to talk to me, Miss. Bakugou Katsuki.”
That stung like a bitch. The hospital staff knew that he was a male, even if not biological. So the only reason this doctor should be calling him “Miss”, was if he wasn’t a doctor and/or he was a transphobic asshole.
To say Katsuki growled was an understatement, he would have lunged at the doctor is he could but he quickly realised restraints have been placed on him so he couldn’t. That was most certainly not a good sign, there was no reason for him to be restrained.
He wanted to scream out for someone because there was no way this guy was a real doctor but after being unconscious for so long his voice was raspy and he wasn’t so sure he could reach a loud enough level to alert someone outside the room, not to mention he didn’t want to anger this man who had the upper hand in this situation.
This situation just seemingly got more and more uncomfortable when the man climbed on top of him and told him to ‘shut up and be a good girl’. In fact, after that, it dawned on him exactly what the creep wanted.
“Get off me! You creep!” He tried to scream and thrash about for him to only be muffled by the man’s hand.
The old creep began to use his other hand to unbutton katsuki’s shirt and no way would he submit to the creep.
He continued to thrash around and trying to break free but to no avail and in the end, he used up his very little energy and passed out leaving himself in the hands of the man.
-------
The next morning Eijirou showed up to the hospital as promised, the rest of the friend group not far behind but they stopped for coffee and let the redhead go ahead.
Eijirou waved to the nurse who had recognised him, giving him a nod to just go right through to Katsuki, which he did.
As he pushed open the door to the blonde’s room, soft sobs could be heard, which of course raised suspicion as Katsuki wasn’t one to just cry or anything.
“Bakubro? You good?” the taller boy asked as he walked closer to the bed.
However, feeling too weak and guilty to look the other in the eyes, he pulled the hospital sheet over his head and rolled to the other side.
That just raised even more concern, since when was the angry boy silent? Usually, he’d just tell the other to ‘Fuck off’. He wouldn’t just roll over, he was too proud for that.
So Eijirou sat down on the edge of the bed and put a hand gently on the others back in an attempt to comfort the other but it didn’t go well.
“Don’t fucking touch me!” Katsuki screamed, or at least attempted to with his hoarse voice, at the other as he threw the blankets off him and looked at him with his puffy red eyes and tear-stained cheeks.
Eijirou was at a loss of words. He knew how to deal with the blonde’s anger, he knew pretty damn how to actually but this? He’d never seen his friend like that before and his chest tightened just seeing him like that.
He went to apologise but Katsuki told him off before he even had the chance. He didn’t want his pity.
“I’m a weak, disgusting girl.” he mumbled out softly as he looked down, and before the redhead had a chance to argue the blonde looked back up at him, “Look at me. I’m fucking filthy.” he choked out and motioned to his body.
He hadn’t been binding for obvious reasons so his chest was prominent, but what was really noticeable were the dark purple bruises forming in scattered patterns.
Eijirou asked what happened again, but this time it was more like he demanded. Something had happened after he had left and was going to find out what.
It was surprisingly easy though as the blonde broke down into sobs once again.
“Kirishima he- he restrained me to the bed! He tied me down and I tried to fight him and escape but I was too fucking weak and I passed out and I woke up this morning he was gone but he- he-”
Kirishima tried to soothe him but did his best to avoid touching him, based on the reaction from earlier it was probably the best option after what he had just been told.
“Have you told anyone other than me?” he asked softly. He didn’t want to seem like he was treating the other like he was delicate but he didn’t know what else to do.
Katsuki’s head shook, He hadn’t. He had pretended to still be asleep when the nurse came in to check on him simply because he didn’t want to talk to anyone.
Eijirou sighed and got up, telling the other that he’d be back. He had decided that he needed to inform the nurse of what happened. Hopefully, Katsuki hadn’t showered yet so there would be evidence and they could convict the vile man who had done this.
------
After he had informed the nurse of what happened a rush of people started to surge towards Katsuki’s room, though it was expected, they needed to check on him and make sure he was okay after what happened.
Eijirou had to wait outside the room until the crowd cleared out and he was told he was allowed to go back in. During that time the rest of their friend group showed up and asked what was happening.
However, seeing as it wasn’t his to tell he said nothing, leaving the group of friends even more worried than before.

Chapter Text
The next few hours flew by in a flurry of doctors, nurses, social workers, and police officers; Eijirou refused to leave his friend's side and had to be dragged out by Aizawa just so that Bakugou could have a small amount of privacy during this traumatic experience.
This was his fault; if he hadn’t left, nothing like that would have ever happened. He could’ve protected his friend. He should have.
Eventually, after what felt like forever, the many people in the room filtered out, the statements and other evidence having been collected. Eijirou was finally allowed back in to comfort the blond, not that Katsuki wanted it. That didn’t matter though. The redhead would sit by his side silently, ready for when he was ready to talk; if he ever was.
-
A few weeks had passed, and Katsuki was back at school, mostly recovered but still required to “take it easy” as per the doctor's orders. He still hadn’t opened up to Kirishima any more than he had that first morning. He hadn’t opened up to anyone about it since that morning, actually. He was trying his best to pretend it never happened, and nobody questioned him.
The only people who knew about the incident in the hospital were his family, doctors, teachers, and Kirishima, and he planned to keep it that way. Everyone just assumed he was still recovering from his minor M.I. and didn’t bother trying to pry for more information, which Bakugou was more than grateful for.
His gratitude barely made a dent in the surface of his tough exterior, however. In the eyes of his classmates, he was only withdrawing further, the concern festering in his friends’ stomachs every day that passed.
-
“Dude… he is SO not okay, so… what do we do?” Kaminari leaned over and whispered, being shushed almost instantaneously by their class rep.
Sure, a pop quiz probably wasn't the most IDEAL place to strike up a conversation, but it was important, and quiet. Perfect conditions, in Kamanari’s eyes.
It had been a few weeks since classes resumed ‘as normal’, everyone swearing up and down that nothing had changed, but it had. Kirishima could see it, and he knew Bakugou could too. The way all of 2-A tiptoed around him, the way Yaoyorozu would assist him with any strenuous activities under the guise of helping out a classmate. It irritated Bakugou to no end; he could see it for what it really was.
Pity.
Kirishima was pulled from his thoughts by the question whisper-screamed in his ear, looking around and sheepishly apologising for the interruption on his friend's behalf. He hadn’t realised he’s been staring at Katsuki until it took every muscle in his body to pry his eyes away from him.
“Huh? Who? Bakugou? The doc said-”
Screeching of metal chair legs against linoleum floor cut through the room like a knife, then a booming voice followed:
“Class 2-A! Pop Quiz or Final exams, silence and concentration are mandatory! Please return to your tests!”
The redhead cringed as he tried to recover from the grating noise, leaning closer to Kaminari to continue his conversation with a lesser chance of being caught this time around.
“The doc said to take it easy, and you know what Bakugou is like… he’ll talk when he’s ready. /If/ he’s ready.” Kirishima couldn’t hide the concern in his voice; he knew what was wrong, but it didn’t make things any easier for any of them.
Before Kaminari had a chance to respond, Aizawa walked over and simply glared at the two boys, causing them both to quickly shut up for the remainder of the quiz.
Thirty minutes later, a bell rang, announcing time for the quiz was up and dismissing them all for lunch. One by one, they all filed out of their seats and placed their quizzes on Aizawa’s desk before making their way out of the classroom and towards the cafeteria. Well, all of them bar one. Katsuki.
Katsuki, instead, went the opposite direction from his classmates, no effort to disclose where he was off to. Denki, Sero, and Mina all shared concerned looks before Kirishima ushered them along to give him some space. Eijirou knew his friends were worried for the stubborn blond, but this wasn’t something he needed to share with anyone unless he was ready, and the redhead was about to let them pressure it out of him. No matter how good their intentions may be.
Even though they were curious and concerned, the group of friends knew when to leave well enough alone. When the next bell went, and they all made their way back to class, none of them questioned where Bakugou was during lunch.
“Okay, class, before you take your seats, I have decided this lesson will be for training instead of history. You all sat through your quiz; this is your reward. Go get changed into your gym uniforms and meet me at the P.E. Grounds.”
Aizawa’s voice echoed through the room before anyone had the chance to get too comfortable. Quickly, each student followed his orders and made their way to the locker rooms, including Katsuki.
As they were getting changed, Eijirou turned to his friend, who had already gotten into his uniform in a bathroom stall and was now tying up his shoes with the rest of his classmates.
“Hey, Bakubro, you’re in your gym uniform? That mean you can start training with us again?”
“Recovery girl cleared me earlier today, so none of you losers better go easy on me. I’ll make sure you’ll regret it if you do!” Bakugou spat out his response in typical Bakugou fashion. Honestly, could anyone expect a different response from him?
‘Ah, so /that’s/ where he went.’ Kirishima thought, a wave of relief washing over him. He knew Bakugou purely went for clearance so he could get back to training, but any reason that he had for seeing Recovery Girl was good enough, right?
It didn’t take much longer for the class to make their way out to the P.E. Grounds after that. Most of them were chatting happily between each other, some theorising what kind of training they’d be doing. Stamina training? Strength training? Maybe they’d get lucky and they’d get combat or quirk training. Those two were almost always fan favourites amongst the class.
“Quiet Down,” demanded Aizawa, looking like he want nothing more that to go home and sleep. Instead he was with a bunch of teenage hero students who all had questions that he honestly couldn’t be bothered to answer each individually at that moment.
“Today we’re doing combat training,” a loud cheer erupted from a few of the students, which was quickly cut off; “Unless, of course, you don’t shut up. If you don’t we’ll go back inside, and continue on with our history lesson instead.” That was followed by silence. Not one of the teenagers wanted to ruin the chance of being out training and end up being stuck in a classroom, not even Iida.
“You’ll be randomly paired off. As a hero, you don’t get to pick what kind of quirk you’ll be up against, so you won’t get to pick now either. Everyone come and put your name in this box, Ashido will draw the pairs.”
Everyone was quick to follow their teachers instructions; lining up to put their names in the box and then patient waiting as Ashido pulled them out in groups of two.
“Hmm, lets see..” A pregnant pause followed as the pink girl rummaged her hand around the box before drawing two out to bits of paper and reading them out loud; “Tokoyami and Ojiro!”
Chatter erupted amongst the students, mostly led by Midoriya who was discussing his theories on how the sparring match will go between them. However, the class was quick to be silenced again by Aizawa and his still-standing threat to take them back inside for a history lesson instead.
“Okay, okay! Next up;” Another pause followed with more rummaging, “Iida and Kaminari!” This time, the pairing announcement was followed by silence. Nobody wanted to be the one who made their teacher follow through with his threat.
The next few minutes were followed by more pairings; Todoroki and Jirou, Shoji and Midoriya, Uraraka and Ashido. At some point, Katsuki just zoned out, not bothering to listen to the other pairings. All he wanted to know was who he had the misfortune of being stuck with.
“... Ooh, Kirishima and Bakugou!”
