It was Hizashi and Shouta's 3 year anniversary,
and the both of them had finally gotten a day off from their stress filled days of work.
Hizashi had took it upon himself to plan out a day for them to spend some time together.
..Even if it meant having to drag his not-so-enthusiastic boyfriend along for the ride.
"Where is it that you were taking me?" Shouta huffed, irritation blatant on his features.
"Just wait! I know you'll love it sho!"
Hizashi was being enthusiastic as ever today, which Shouta found to be quite annoying. Shouta loved his boyfriend, but he could always find the right way to get on his nerves.
Hizashi's voice snapped him out of thought as he handed him a blindfold.
"Here! I don't wanna ruin the surprise, So could you do me a favor and keep this on the rest of the way?"
Hizashi smirked and shot him a quick wink.
"Thanks babe!"
This didn't help to lift Shouta's irritable mood from the past few days. Although this made him more than a little frustrated, he grumbled and did what he was asked.
"Here, take my hand so you don't trip or anything."
He felt the sudden warmth in his palm, as Hizashi grabbed his hand and intertwined their fingers.
Shouta swore could feel every little detail along Hizashi's hand.
He was so used to holding this hand, why did it make him so nervous just now?
It made Shouta blush slightly to think of such trivial things, although it was hardly visible through the blindfold.
He kept walking, trying to shake the weird feeling he had.

After what felt like forever to Shouta, but realistically was no more than about 5 minutes, they had finally come to a halt.
By this time the sun was setting, leaving a beautiful array of pinks, oranges, and reds splashed across the sky.
"Okay sho, give me a minute to prep, alright?"
Shouta could tell he was running about quite frantic, movement and heavy breathing being the only thing he could hear at the moment.
"Hizashi, I've been waiting for such a long time. Are you almost ready?"
Shouta suddenly heard the rushing movements come to a hault.
"Alright, you've been patiently waiting long enough! You can take your blindfold off!"
Although the sun was setting, the light was intensely blinding as it hit his retinas.
It took him a moment to adjust his eyes but when he did, he was at a complete loss for words.
The sight before him, was unbelievable. A beautiful cliff edge overlooking the city.
The oranges, pinks, and reds of the sunset blended perfectly, cascading across the vast sky and disappearing behind the earth.
The fireflies were just starting to come out of hiding, and it seemed as if they were dancing through the air, performing a show just for him.
The feeling was almost magical. Shouta's eyes followed the scene, stopping in the center of his surroundings.
The sights, they all drew attention to Hizashi.
He took a sharp breath as Hisashi slowly came towards him.
"Shouta, the time we've spent together over the years has been so beautiful. Being with you is like a dream. I always hope that I never wake up, because I want to spend every moment with you. The time I spend with you is something that I want to treasure, for the rest of my life. Shouta I love you with every piece of myself, and I can't live without you by my side."
Shouta could feel the beating of his heart pounding against his ribcage.
He was desperately trying, but he couldn't hold back the tears that threatened to spill out of his eyes.
He felt them slowly pour down his face, unable to control it.
Hizashi looked up at him, with that gentle smile on that dumb face of his. He dropped down onto his knee while looking up at Shouta and embracing his hand in the most tender way he could.
Shouta could feel it. The same feeling as earlier.
It was as if he was grabbing Hizashi's hand for the first time.
The tears continued, unable to be stopped.
"I want to spend every day of the rest of my life with you."
He felt a heavy feeling inside. His heart beating frantically, ready to burst from his chest.
He grabbed his chest, his eyes not leaving Hizashi's figure.
"Shouta Aizawa, would you please marry me?"
Shouta had burst into a sob, and grabbed Hizashi in a tight embrace.
"Of course I will you idiot." Was all he could choke up between sobs.
Shouta looked down at Hizashi, who was smiling the biggest smile he had seen for the longest time.
"I love you so much..." Hizashi said softly, before planting a gentle kiss on Shouta's head.
"I love you too you idiot."
As the sun was swallowed up by the horizon, they continued to hold each other, in a loving embrace.
