Work Text:
Jungkook stared at Hyuna like she had grown a new pair of arms. "Um. What?"
Hyuna sipped on her drink. "You heard me. I want to introduce you to a clan."
Kim Hyuna was a tiny but charismatic half fairy, previously an escort and now an agent for the Hybrid Blood Escorts Agency. She had scouted Jungkook on the street a few months ago and had managed his escort career since then with great success.
But an actual vampire clan?
"Noona, I know I'm good--"
"You're not only good, Jeon Jungkook. I believe you're the perfect match for them."
Jungkook blinked. "R-really?"
Hyuna nodded. "They're a small clan, six vampires. I know them, I've checked their records with us multiple times. They're really good."
Jungkook knew the agency had a strict feedback system to avoid toxic or dangerous behaviours, whether it was on the escort or the vampire side.
Hyuna continued. "Performance wise, you already exceed all expectations. You know you have the stamina for this."
Jungkook smiled like he always did when he was praised. He knew he was a good blood escort, and it would be misplaced humility to pretend he didn't know that.
He worked out and had a healthy lifestyle. He had an incredible stamina thanks to his mermaid side, and most of all, he loved sex, and he loved the feeling of bone deep pleasure coursing through his veins every time a client fed on him.
He already had enough clients to refuse some appointments sometimes. They were all satisfied and booking him again regularly.
Still, most agencies wouldn't send an escort who had less thant a year of experience to be a clan's escort. But their agency had built its reputation on daring moves.
They were the first agency to have ever specialised in hybrid escorts. Hybrids were much more resistant than humans, and being half human also made their blood ideal for vampires.
That's what had seduced Jungkook to begin with. The ambition of this agency, and the challenge.
Jungkook loved a challenge. "Okay, I'm in."
Hyuna giggled. "Yeah, wait a second, Tornado. They have one special request."
Jungkook leaned forward, crossing his arms on the table. "Yeah? Special costumes? Roleplay? Particular kinks? I'm a pro."
Hyuna smiled softly. "They want to spend time with you, outside of feeding or sex. They're looking for someone who could potentially become their friend."
That. That made Jungkook's heartbeat catch in his chest.
Truth was, Jungkook wasn't the absolute best at making friends. He needed a smooth operator, someone to help him connect to other people. He used to have friends from dance back home, people who knew how he was and took the rein to make him at ease.
Moving to the city, Jungkook had not had the occasion to make a lot of friends. He had met with Yugyeom and Mingyu who were escorts in the same agency and had helped him with the ropes. They had busy lives, just like him, and he couldn't always meet with them.
He had Hyuna, who was like a big sister, but like Yugyeom and Mingyu, she was terribly busy. Jungkook felt bad for disturbing her in the middle of her domestic life with her husband.
He even had a personal trainer at the gym who was a nice guy, but probably not what you would consider a friend.
And when he thought too much about it, Jungkook felt a little lonely. So he usually avoided thinking about it.
"You have to know," Hyuna said with a soft voice, "that you're absolutely free to refuse, as always."
In their agency, escorts were free to refuse a client, and vampires were free to refuse. "I've never felt pressured to accept a contract, noona, and it's not gonna start now."
Hyuna smiled, warm and happy.
She gave him 48 hours to think about it seriously. After the delay, Jungkook's resolve was even stronger than before.
He called her, his skin tingling with excitement.
She picked up after the second ring. "Hi, Jungkookie."
Jungkook smiled to himself. "I wanna meet them."
He could hear Hyuna's smile at the other end of the line. "Lovely."
"Shit, fuck," Jungkook groaned when he heard the rumbling of an incoming storm.
He was late for the interview and he had not taken an umbrella, which were both excellent reasons to start running. On the other hand, he had styled his hair to perfection and he was wearing gorgeous and fitted trousers. Running would be uncomfortable and counter-productive.
Jungkook sighed in despair. Punctuality was the bane of his existence.
He was an organised person, he really was. He had a tight schedule meticulously organised, his clothes were categorised by color and his skincare products were aligned in his bathroom in the order he used them.
But when he had an appointment, Jungkook was either ridiculously early, or... varrying degrees of late. His tardiness was often due to the amount of time he spent in his bathroom.
His mermaid side could never resist an impromptu shower or a bubble bath, sometimes three times in the same day.
Unfortunately, the concept of time completely eluded him once he was in the water, and Yugyeom and Mingyu often teased him about his famous 50 minutes long showers.
Today was special though, and Jungkook had soaked in his bath on purpose .
He may not have a tail or the ability to breathe underwater, as a half mermaid hybrid, he had pretty nacre scales on his lower back and the V parts of his lower belly. He liked to polish them in the bath, they made him feel confident and pretty.
Water also gave him a subtle, glowing aura that was part of the mermaid ethereal attractiveness. The effect lasted a few hours after a long bath, and that's the kind of advantage he needed for today.
However, the probability of scoring the clan would be highly compromised if Hyuna destroyed his late ass. As if on cue, another deep rumble resonated in the air and fat raindrops started staining the pavement.
"Fucking shit." Jungkook sighed forcibly again and went for the full run.
Running didn't help.
By the time he arrived, he was soaking wet, and Hyuna already looked quite impatient.
"Where were you?" She hit him lightly with her folder as he hurried under her umbrella. "You're completely drenched! You didn't take an umbrella? I'm gonna whoop your ass!"
Jungkook shook his wet hair. RIP his perfect style. "I'm sorry noona, I'm so, so sorry--"
Hyuna groaned. "Hush." She looked at him, and he could see worry in her eyes now. "You're gonna catch a cold! I don't have anything to dry you! It's part of your job to take care of yourself!"
Jungkook gave her his best smile and giggled. "I'm half mermaid, noona, water can't hurt me."
She hit him again with the folder. "Don't be cocky with me. And stop giving me your seductive brat voice." She groaned. "You're soaking wet and you still manage to look good. So annoying." She grumbled something about damn mermaids under her breath while ringing the doorbell.
Jungkook could finally take a look at the door. It was a discreet metal gate, tucked in a wall of stones almost entirely swallowed by vines.
It was very... unimpressive. Jungkook had met with clients in fancy restaurants and luxurious hotels and high end apartments, so this worn out metal gate was pretty underwhelming.
Jungkook would never have noticed it if he had been walking in that street by himself. He had located it today only because he had seen Hyuna and her shocking orange hair waiting in front of it. "Have you ever been there before?"
The door buzzed open, and Hyuna pushed the metal gate. "Yes. I used to be the escort of one of the vampires here." She encouraged Jungkook to walk in, pointing forward with her head. Jungkook took in the space behind the gate. It was a vast garden enclosed by tall walls and trees. The path of grey stones was a stark contrast with the green of the grass, and led to a huge house.
It looked like a cocoon of calm at the heart of the restless city.
"Wow." Jungkook whispered. "I didn't even know that kind of places existed in the city."
"They're very private." Hyuna said. "If you get picked, you must keep this place a secret."
Jungkook nodded quickly. "Yes, of course."
They walked quickly, their footsteps the only thing disturbing the white noise of the rain. When they reached the front door, it opened before Hyuna could knock on it.
"Please, come in."
Hyuna entered first this time and bowed down very low. Jungkook instantly imitated her. "Thank you very much for your time, Seokjin-ssi. This is Jeon Jungkook, the escort we talked about."
Seokjin bowed back and smiled. "Pleasure to meet you." He looked up and pouted a little. "Oh my, you were caught in the rain, weren't you?"
Jungkook... had not been prepared for this. For starters, shoulders. So wide, so manly, dipping into a narrow, defined waist. He had a strong jaw and the plumpiest set of lips Jungkook had ever seen. He had dusty pink hair and was staring at Jungkook with dark doe eyes. Jungkook currently had white noise in his head and butterflies in his stomach.
It took 5 long and embarrassing seconds for Jungkook to understand that the question was directed at him. He pointed a finger to himself. "M-me?"
Seokjin cocked his head, smiling curiously now. "Yes. Are you cold?"
Jungkook was about to answer when two other vampires came into the big hall. "The escort arrived?" One of them asked.
Seokjin clapped. "Ah, Jimin, can you go get me some towels? Taehyung, tell Namjoon to hurry, I hate to make people wait."
The first one nodded and left, the other gave Jungkook a solid once over before giving a thumbs-up and leaving too.
Seokjin hummed, a hand on his chin. "Maybe we should get you some dry clothes?"
This had the merit to make Jungkook react. "I'll be fine, I apologize for the trouble." He bowed down again, embarrassed. His gaze fell on the old carpet, which he was dripping on. Shit shit shit.
Seokjin smiled. "Don't worry, it happens. You know Namjoon, he has a tendency to lose his belonging all the time, and that includes umbrellas."
Jungkook blinked. He distantly knew he was supposed to answer, but he was still overwhelmed by Seokjin's beauty, the old carpet slowly soaking up, the fact that he wasn't naturally a great talker, the fact that he had a client called Namjoon--
Seokjin didn't wait too long for Jungkook to answer. "Maybe we should go to the living room?" He must have understood that Jungkook wasn't the best at conversation, which... probably wasn't a point in his favor to be selected as the clan's escort. Great.
The front door suddenly opened, and two new people came in.
Seokjin instantly frowned. "You're late." He raised an eyebrow. "And drenched."
One of the two stared at the other angrily. "If Yoongi-hyung had not left the umbrella at the café, we wouldn't be drenched."
Yoongi shrugged. "But if we'd been back there to grab it, we'd be late."
"We're already late! I hate being late!" The first one screeched. He suddenly seemed to notice Hyuna and Jungkook. "Hi. I'm so sorry we're late, I'll grab a towel--"
"I come bearing towels!" the vampire from earlier shouted.
Jungkook's eyes were as wide as saucers now. This was... a lot of vampires.
Seokjin put his hands in his face, inhaled deeply, exhaled. "Thanks, Jimin. Give the towels to Jungkook here. Yoongi and Hoseok can go to their bedrooms to get changed, pronto ." He smiled his best at Hyuna and Jungkook. "Will you please wait for us in the living room? Hyuna-ssi, you know the way."
Hyuna nodded, let Jungkook take the pile of towels Jimin gave him and guided him to the end of the hall. She opened the double door and pulled Jungkook with her.
"Are you okay?"
Jungkook had his head down, drying his long hair energetically with a towel. He had absorbed as much as he could from his clothes, and hoped to dry quickly. "Yeah, that's just the way I dry my hair for volume."
"That's not what I meant." Hyuna sighed and came closer. "You seemed shocked." She put her hand on his shoulder and squeezed. "You know you can back out whenever you want. No judgement, no pressure. It can be intimidating for escorts with even more experience than you have."
Jungkook smiled. "Yeah, I know. I was just surprised." He sighed. "Seokjin-ssi is... Extremely good looking."
Hyuna blinked, then chuckled. "He is. And also very kind. A very decent vampire."
Jungkook nodded, but he had not doubted that one second. The screening process of the agency was no joke, whether it was for their hosts or their clients.
Jungkook licked his lips, a question nagging him. "Seokjin-ssi said there was a vampire called Namjoon. Is it... one of my recent clients, Kim Namjoon?"
Hyuna blinked. "Did I forgot to mention that? Namjoon's the one who requested you to be interviewed among other potential escorts for their clan."
Jungkook gaped. "Yes, you forgot to mention that."
Hyuna went back to the sofa and opened her file. "He's a good client. Always leaves you glowing feedback. You seem to appreciate him too." She looked up at him. "Is that a problem that he's here?"
Namjoon was tall, charismatic, a little intimidating, and extremely knowledgeable. He had thighs Jungkook drooled over in his dreams, and yet they had never fucked.
Namjoon talked during most of their time together, which was supposed to be Jungkook's job but everything Namjoon said was just so... interesting.
"No, no problem at all. I'm just surprised." Jungkook replied quickly.
There was something just fascinating about his meet-ups with Namjoon. He always fed on him carefully, made sure Jungkook was okay and talked some more before leaving.
Some vampires didn't want to have sex, they just looked for sustenance. That was totally fine. But Namjoon always left Jungkook with the feeling of wanting more. More of his company, more of his words, more of his smiles.
Jungkook had always wondered what Namjoon could get from their encounters, apart from good blood.
He couldn't believe Namjoon had actually recommended him for his own clan. How was he supposed to show how grateful he was? Kiss his feet?
Hyuna raised an eyebrow. "I'm pretty sure you're thinking about something silly. Come here." She tapped on the sofa next to her.
Jungkook made a face. "I'm gonna get it wet."
Hyuna snorted. "That couch has seen worse. Sit down."
Jungkook cocked his head mechanically and sat next to Hyuna.
She pat his head gently. "You're a good escort, and you're a good egg, Jeon Jungkook. I wouldn't have agreed to introduce you to them if I didn't believe in you."
Jungkook stared at Hyuna and hoped she could see how thankful he was. Since he wasn't sure if she could read minds or not, he pouted. "Thank you, noona."
She smiled. "Good boy."
The living room door opened again, and six vampires entered. Jungkook jumped on his feet and bowed low, while Hyuna did the same in a calmer way.
"I brought tea to warm you up." One of them smiled and put a tray on the coffee table in front of Jungkook. "I'm Jimin, by the way."
Jungkook nodded. "Oh. Oh thank you, I, yes."
Ugh, he was slightly nervous. He automatically scanned the rest of their faces and recognised Namjoon. He bowed politely again.
Namjoon smiled. "Hi, Jungkook."
"Namjoon-ssi. I, I just heard you recommended me, I'm very grateful--"
Namjoon shook his hand. "You deserve it."
Hyuna and Jungkook sat back on the couch. Two vampires sat on the couch on their left, two in front of them, and Namjoon on their right, Seokjin sitting on the arm of the armchair.
"Alright," Hyuna said. "Before we start, I'll officially remind that everyone in this room has been screened by the agency, and has a record of clean feedback." She flipped a few stacks of pages, probably said records, and continued. "Everyone knows me here, I'm Kim Hyuna, always a pleasure to see you."
They all greeted her, gave her smiles, friendly waves, or both. Jungkook was proud of how Hyuna, all dainty and tiny, managed to enrapture a room and be loved. She was his agent, and she kicked ass.
"And this is Jeon Jungkook, one of the candidates for your clan escort position." She smiled at Jungkook. "During the interview, you'll be able to ask him more about his nature, his experience, and his character and interests. I'll be here to supervise." She smiled. "Seokjin-ssi, I'll let you continue from here?"
"Excellent. Jungkook, like I said earlier, I'm Kim Seokjin. You know Kim Namjoon, here."
Jungkook nodded and bowed his head slightly to Namjoon again. It was reassuring to see a familiar face. Namjoon smiled like an encouragement, and it helped strengthen Jungkook's resolve.
Seokjin pointed at the two vampires who had also been caught in the rain. "This is Min Yoongi, and Jung Hoseok."
Jungkook nodded politely again. Hoseok smiled, a bit too bright, as if he was trying to compensate for Yoongi's lack of enthusiasm.
"And last but not least, here you have Park Jimin and Kim Taehyung. In case you're not aware yet, they prefer to consume together."
"Have you ever fed two vampires at the same time?" Yoongi suddenly asked.
Jungkook blanched. "I..." He licked his lips. "I-I havent, but I'm pretty confident in my resistance to do it."
Yoongi squinted. "How long have you been doing this?"
Namjoon answered this time. "I already told you he became an escort a few months ago." He looked at Jungkook and smiled. "He's very capable."
Yoongi raised an eyebrow. "He doesn't have much experience."
"There's a first time for everything." Namjoon countered.
They both stared at each other like a silent contest.
Jimin cleared his throat. "Maybe we should ask Jungkook if he wants to try feeding Tae and I at the same time." He turned to Jungkook.
Jungkook blinked before understanding he was supposed to answer, and nodded quickly. "Absolutely, yes! I'm down for it."
He heard Hyuna click her tongue on her palate very softly. 'Language'. But Jimin smiled again, so he must have liked his answer. Taehyung next to him had the biggest poker face Jungkook had ever seen, so he wasn't sure on this side.
There was a pause, a silence that extended for a bit too long for Jungkook's comfort. He spotted his cup of tea left on the coffee table and quickly grabbed it, just to have something to do with his hands. He brought it to his lips, missed his mouth and splashed himself with warm tea.
"Ah, sh-!" He clapped his free hand on his mouth to stop the curse.
"Are you okay?" Hoseok instantly went to get up, but Yoongi put his hand on his shoulder to keep him sitting.
"I-I'm fine. It wasn't that warm anymore." Jungkook bit his lip. He wanted to say he wasn't that clumsy usually, but it sounded dumb in his head. So instead, his brain provided. "I like being wet."
Taehyung snorted, the way you try to hold back a laughter and Jimin raised an eyebrow, amused.
Yongi shrugged. "I don't want to have sex with you. I just want your blood."
Jungkook shook his hands in front of himself, quickly. "T-that's not what I meant! I'm half mermaid, I, I like being--" He showed his whole body. "Like, wet, all wet. In a bath, or the shower, or..." This poor attempt at explaining was a disaster.
"A swimming-pool?" Seokjin provided helpfully.
Jungkook gulped. "Y-yeah..."
"But you're potentially interested in sex?" Seokjin asked.
Jungkook was used to talking about it in his line of work, so he wasn't as shy or surprised as he used to be when he had started. "Absolutely. I often feed and provide sexual services at the same time, but I can offer both separately."
Jungkook couldn't help but take a look at Namjoon to see his reaction.
However, Namjoon was purposefully avoiding to look at him or anyone in the room, focusing on the teapot Jimin had brought earlier.
"That's good to know." Hoseok finally said.
"Do you cuddle?" Taehyung asked, and wow. That was a deep velvet voice Jungkook had not expected.
He felt his face become warm and his ears set on fire. "I, I like cuddles." Which was true. He just needed to be comfortable for that. "My previous clients never asked for cuddles, though."
Jimin smiled. "I don't think you need escort experience for that."
Taehyung stared at Jungkook as if he could read into his soul, and Jungkook tried his best not to squirm.
"Hyuna, did you talk to him about our request?" Namjoon asked.
Hyuna smiled at him. "Yes. He knows you'd like to spend time with your escort. Get to know each other."
"And... That's fine with you?" Namjoon asked Jungkook.
Jungkook nodded. He had suddenly no idea how he was supposed to behave. Eager? Composed?
Namjoon hummed. "Hyuna-ssi, if Jungkook's not comfortable, we'd be happy to wait for you to introduce us other--"
"No, I'm really comfortable, Namjoon-ssi!" Jungkook clapped his hands on his thighs so that he wouldn't fiddle with his fingers and took a deep breath. "I thought about it, really. I would really, really like to make friends." Maybe he sounded desperate, now. "I think I'm a good friend." He said, lower.
He avoided looking at their faces, scared of what he would see there.
"What are your hobbies?" Hoseok suddenly asked, like he wanted to change the subject.
Was he supposed to say something cool and polished? Jungkook had no idea, so he went for the first thing that came to his mind. "I uh. I study film-making on my own." He said, a little shy now.
Yoongi raised his eyebrows. "On your own?"
Jungkook nodded. "I watch tutorials and I just. I film, and then I edit." Duh. Thank you captain obvious.
Yoongi hummed. "It's not easy."
Jungkook nodded. "I'm determined."
Yoongi raised an eyebrow, but said nothing.
Jungkook gulped, his stress increasing again. Was that cocky of him to have said that? Or was he giving the most lackluster answers?
He gritted his teeth. Jungkook wasn't lackluster. He was the opposite of lackluster, he was interesting and cool. "I also play video games, online. I read webcomics." Uh, maybe not his most defining hobby. "I like to work out, too, I... I took on boxing lately?"
"You mean, you're not sure you have?" Seokjin asked.
"No, no, I have! I started learning boxing." Jungkook said, emphasizing on the final intonation to make sure it wasn't a question.
Seokjin blinked. "Yes, um. I was teasing you." He said with a smile.
Now Jungkook wanted to bump his head on the table. They were going to think he was an idiot.
"I like working out," Seokjin said again, "so perhaps we can do that together?"
Jungkook was surprised, but quickly answered, "Yes, that would be great."
"Do you dance?" Hoseok asked.
Jungkook hesitated. "Like, in nightclubs?"
Hoseok giggled. "Yes! But also, would you like to attend dance classes?"
Jungkook felt his heart beat stronger. "Yes!" That was a familiar topic for him. He felt himself relax a bit. "I used to dance before coming to the city, I miss it."
"Maybe we can go to a class together!" Jimin said, excited.
" If we choose him." Yoongi said.
Jimin pouted. "Way to break a mood, hyung."
Jungkook tried to smile, but wow. Yoongi really didn't like him. That made him shrivel up in himself.
Jungkook was disheartened. He had felt a spark of excitement when Jimin had offered to dance with him and Hoseok. Hoseok with the warm smile. Seokjin was a smooth operator who teased him nicely, and Taehyung... Jungkook wasn't sure what Taehyung was thinking, but someone who unabashedly talked about cuddles made a good impression on Jungkook.
He would like to hang out with them more. He would have liked become their friend.
"Do you have any questions?" Namjoon suddenly asked, marking the end of the interview.
That had gone so fast, Jungkook didn't feel like he had shown who he truly was. Instead he had arrived completely wet, given obvious answers, failed to have a brain to mouth filter, made a fool of himself multiple times, splashed himself with tea, and managed to make Yoongi not like him.
Now he was convinced he had completely bombed this interview.
Jungkook shook his head, defeated. "I don't think so."
He was going to say goodbye and probably never see them again. Never come into that living room, into that hall, into that garden, with vampires offering him towels and tea and dance lessons.
It sucked.
"Thank you for your time." Hyuna smiled.
"Yes, thank you." Jungkook said, dejected, as they both bowed down.
Jungkook was good at stuff, he was confident in his escorts skills, and yet. He had completely blown this.
He followed Hyuna to the hall, his head low. The rain was still pouring outside, and he didn't magically come up with an umbrella. A shitty way to end a shitty day.
"Wait!"
Jungkook turned back to see Yoongi walking to them.
Hyuna cocked her head. "Yoongi-ssi?"
He showed the umbrella he had in his hand. "I assumed Jungkook needed one."
That... That was nice. And completely unexpected.
Yoongi extended his hand, encouraging Jungkook to take the umbrella. Jungkook was about to grab it when Yoongi raised his hand right before Jungkook could catch it.
"I have one last question." Yoongi said.
Jungkook suddenly realised he was taller than Yoongi. It didn't feel like that at all, though. "Yes?"
Yoongi squinted, and after a short moment he finally asked. "Big spoon or little spoon?"
Jungkook blinked. "What?"
"For cuddling." Yoongi supplied, his expression unreadable. "Are you more of a big spoon or a little spoon?"
Jungkook gaped. Was it a trick question? Did his interview depend on his answer?
Ugh, no. He had already fucked it. "Uh. It depends, I guess."
Yoongi raised an eyebrow. "It depends? That's your answer?"
Jungkook held back the pout and the brat voice and everything his instincts were screaming at him. "Yes. I like to hold something when I sleep, usually a blanket or a pillow. I, I like wrapping myself around it like an octopus!" Jungkook was crimson red, he just knew.
Yoongi smiled a little though. Maybe he could consider this a victory. "But?"
Jungkook blinked again. "But?"
"You said it depends." Yoongi reminded him.
Jungkook took an inhale that remained stuck in his throat. That was an intimate thing to say, but if he was to never see Yoongi again, might as well. "I. I like to feel small. Sometimes."
For long seconds, Yoongi said nothing. Just looked at Jungkook, his expression unchanging. "I see." He finally said. He gave Jungkook the umbrella. "Goodbye, then."
Jungkook's shoulders slouched, both in relief and disappointment.
"I fucking blew it, noona." Jungkook said after long minutes walking silently side by side on the street with Hyuna.
Hyuna shrugged. "You don't know that."
"Oh please, you were there." He sighed.
"So what? You were a little nervous. Trust me, it makes you relatable."
Jungkook shook his head. "Pretty sure you'll have to look for a better escort." He pouted.
Hyuna went in front of him to make him stop walking. "You are an excellent escort, Jeon Jungkook. If it doesn't work, it's my mistake, not yours, honey."
Jungkook lowered his head. Research for the right blood host could take months, sometimes years. In the meantime, escorts like Jungkook provided sustenance for vampires, individually.
"Maybe I should just stay in the individual feeding."
Hyuna looked sad now. "Jungkook-ah, you are amazing. Even if you don't become this clan's escort, you managed to be introduced to a clan with only a few months of experience. That's an achievement in itself."
Jungkook shrugged. "I guess." He knew Hyuna was right, but he was too disappointed to be touched by her words for now.
She smiled, put herself on the tip of her toes to pat his head under the umbrella. "Go home. Take a 14 hour bath. Play your Overwatch all night. You only have one client in the evening tomorrow, so you can relax."
Jungkook sighed and nodded. "Alright. Thank you."
Jungkook's following week was uneventful. Being an escort wasn't always easy but it was incredibly rewarding to provide blood and skinship to people who actually paid for that. Jungkook didn't have to doubt himself.
He also loved the feeling of being useful, of being able to give something that some people needed. It made him feel wanted, desired.
"Bye Jungkookie, I'll book you again soon!"
Jungkook sat up from his spot on the bed, all the sheets in disarray around him. "Thanks for your patronage, Hyorin-noona. Always a pleasure."
She looked at him at the bedroom door with a smile, and sighed. "You make such a lovely picture, all naked like this in this bed..." She sighed again. "I'm gonna be late. Bye, dear!"
Jungkook chuckled and waited for the front door of the hotel room to click shut before he laid back again with a contented huff.
He was still hesitating between dozing off or taking a bath in the massive bathtub of the room when his cell phone rang. He groaned, rolled on the side, grabbed his pants on the floor and pulled it to him. He grabbed the cellphone in his front pocket and looked at the screen.
Why was Hyuna calling now?
"Noona?"
"Hi Jungkook-ah. How was your appointment with Hyorin-ssi?"
Jungkook looked at the fading bite marks on his thighs and smiled. "It was good. She just left."
Hyuna snorted. "That's two extra hours. Good job."
"Thanks." Jungkook said, leaning backward on a fluffy pillow. "Why are you calling me?"
"Right. Um. They want you."
Jungkook closed his eyes. "Ugh, noona, I got a lot of blood sucked out of my system and I just fucked for three hours. Who wants me?"
"The clan."
Jungkook sat up like a spring. "What?"
"The clan you met last week. If you're still interested, they would really like to try it out with you." She sounded so pleased, it made Jungkook feel a bit dizzy. "They really liked you. All of them. They almost fought on the phone just to tell me."
Jungkook's heart was pounding in his chest. "R-really?"
Hyuna chuckled. "I told you. You're relatable, Jungkook-ah."
Jungkook felt... elated. Almost high. "That's. Wow. That's wow."
Hyuna laughed again. "So. Are you still interested?"
"Yes!" Jungkook shouted a bit too hard, almost dropping his phone. "Yes, yes please, book me, book me."
"Alright, alright! Clean yourself and come to the agency. We'll check when to set your first appointment."
"See you!" Jungkook said before throwing his phone on the bed and jumping off the bed to the bathroom.
