Author's note: So a new dragon Au, I hope you guys enjoy this new fic!
This is just a side fic, it has no schedule, I will update it when I wish. So please don't ask.
A young hatchling ran across the rocky land outside his birth clan’s territory, no destination in mind, he just had to get away. He was born a runt to Inko, a dragon with a closeness to the Clan Alpha that one would assume they were sisters. He hatched late, was a runt, but his mother loved him… or she had loved him. The hatchling stopped, so far from the clan grounds now. He had been named Izuku, and he had been subjected to bullying from the Alpha’s own son, and every other hatchling. The Alpha’s son had kept stealing Izuku’s catches of fish, and then gone to his parents and spun a tale, claiming Izuku was going around stealing food the other hatchlings were catching. Not even his own mother stood in his defence. So Izuku willingly left as they banished him, he cried as he ran. With his head bowed in shame, Izuku continued walking, chances of survival were low, he would likely be killed, but the hatchling didn’t seem to be bothered with the fact. He had lost his will.
Izuku stumbled into a cave, yawning and whimpering in pain. He collapsed into the entrance. His paws raw and bloody from his escape, the soft scales that had been there, rubbed off in the journey. His breath was laboured as he slowly began to loose conscious. He was ready to curl up, sleep, to continue his walk to an early death in the morning. He didn’t notice the shifting of a giant shadow in the cave before him as he drifted off to sleep

Toshinori had been sleeping when someone entered his spot. He woke ready to scare them out, only to see a hatchling. The moment he saw them collapse, he panicked, moving closer to the child. He carefully reached over and picked up the hatchling and placing them beside him. Giant wings extended over the hatchling, as Toshi looked out of the cave, keeping watch, after all… the hatchling was his to protect now.

Light filtered through into the cave, rays hitting Izuku’s snout, casting an emerald glow around the cave as the heat warmed his snout. Izuku whimpered lightly, and yawned, he snuggled into the warmth next. He froze… he wasn’t alone anymore… Izuku jumped up, eyes opened and afraid, as he stared up at the giant golden dragon before him.
Toshinori looked back at the hatchling and snorted.
“Careful there little one. You are weakened, you need to eat.” Toshi said, he moved his tail to reveal a large bowl cut into the rock, water and fish filled it, live fish. “Help yourself, I need to get more anyway.” Izuku kept his eyes on the bigger dragon as he got closer to the bowl. Once there, Izuku watched the fish swim around, he quickly snapped up one and dragged it to the rocks. He happily began to eat, his tail swaying across the ground happily. Toshi watched him softly, at least the hatchling was eating. Toshi got up, Spooky the child. He apologize and stepped at the cave and stretched.
Izuku watched the older dragon leave, he panicked, finished his fish and hurried out after him, only to crash into one of his legs.
“Careful there.” Toshi looked down at him.
“T-Thank you… you didn’t… you shouldn’t have…” Izuku stammered
“It is fine. What are you doing all the way out here? Where are your parents?” Toshi asked
“I was banished…” Izuku answered. “Alpha’s son was horrible to me… and lied, getting me banished… they didn’t want a runt… Runt’s are not welcome in that clan…” Izuku sat, sniffing. “My mama said nothing to help me.”
“Odd in this day and age… I thought all clans knew that runts always grew to be bigger then any normal dragon once they reach adultescence’s.” Toshi said. “I am 45 and look at me.”
“You were like me?” Izuku asked, eyes wide.
“Yes, much like you. I was also banished from my clan. But I stumbled into these lands like you. I found another clan, and they accepted me… their Alpha took me on… and I ended up taking her role as Alpha later one…” Toshi smiled. “I am Toshinori, Alpha of Clan One for All.”
“I’m Izuku…Where’s the rest of the clan?” Izuku asked curiously.
“There is just me… we were attacked. I sent the clan to hide…” Toshi placed his claws over his chest, were a golden jewel resided. “I don’t have the energy to call them back home…” Toshi explained sadly.
“Can… Can I stay?” Izuku asked, Toshi looked down at him softly.
“Of course, my boy let me give you a tour of the territory.” Toshi smiled, Izuku trilled happily and followed him.

The day after Izuku had been banished, it was revealed the lie. Katsuki and his friends huffed as Mitsuki, their alpha berated him. Katsuki snarled.
“He was a runt! No one wanted him…” Katsuki began
“I did…” Inko answered sadly, Katsuki shut up, he hated seeing his auntie so sad… and it was his fault? The search party that had been sent out to search for him, returned. The only thing they found were his small, bloodied paw prints.
“What did you have to say for yourself?” Mitsuki demanded
“He was going to die anyway…” Katsuki began once again, but he was silenced by a feral snarl. Everyone looked to Inko. Her eyes slits as she looked better her Alpha and her son.
“You… You killed my hatchling…” She snarled
“Inko, calm …” Masaru, Mitsuki’s mate approached her, within a second, she had pinned him. Her claws against his throat.
“Inko, don’t do this.” Mitsuki begged,
“My Baby begged for his life! And you decided to listen to your hell spawn, when you usually have an investigation! You pride yourself on the fairness of this clan, like no other clan does! You pride yourself on a LIE!” Inko’s claws dug in to Masaru’s neck. She had to be subdued by the rest of the clan and chained in the caves below their territory. Her roars causing the ground to thunder beneath them.
“Keep looking for her hatchling, we need to find him. If we can’t find him alive… I have no doubt she will kill us all. Now, MOVE!” Mitsuki roared, Katsuki at her side, furious. This wasn’t his fault… it was that stupid DEKU’S!
